Car without brake cables: Expected to be released in autumn 2025

Bosch engineers embarked on a 3,300-kilometer journey to test the new wireless brake system. During this trip, the system's performance was evaluated under different climate conditions.

The wireless brake system operates entirely through electrical signals instead of mechanical connections. Bosch plans to launch this technology in the autumn of 2025.

The company aims to integrate this system into 5.5 million vehicles by 2030. The new system provides assembly flexibility, offering vehicle manufacturers more freedom. At the same time, it creates new possibilities in interior design with shorter brake pedal travel.

In terms of safety, the system's redundant structure ensures that braking can still be achieved even in the event of a failure. Thousands of braking tests were conducted during the journey to verify the system's reliability.

Bosch aims to further develop wireless brake technology with the data obtained. At the end of the test, it was observed that the system worked successfully under real road conditions.
