New price hike for diesel! Prices to exceed 50 TL
A price hike of 1 lira and 70 kuruş per liter of diesel will take effect starting at midnight tonight. Following the hike, diesel prices will exceed 50 TL in many regions.
The conflicts between Israel and Iran have directly impacted global energy markets. Specifically, the price of Brent crude rose to 76 dollars in a short time following the tensions, before stabilizing at 73 dollars.
This increase has been reflected as a price hike in fuel prices in Turkey.
THIRD HIKE IN FIVE DAYS
A hike of 1.47 TL was applied to gasoline on Friday, June 13, and another 1.47 TL hike was applied to diesel on Saturday, June 14. With this latest hike, there will have been three separate fuel price increases in just five days.
With the upcoming hike, the price of diesel will exceed the 50 TL threshold in some major cities. Here are the current fuel prices as of June 16, 2025:
