Tesla has launched the pre-sale of the rear-wheel-drive version of the Model Y in Turkey. The vehicle can be ordered with a starting price of 1 million 791 thousand 451 Turkish Lira, benefiting from Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV) reductions, with a 50 thousand TL deposit. Deliveries are expected to begin in June and July.

The rear-wheel-drive version of the Model Y has a range of 455 kilometers and can complete 0-100 km acceleration in 7.5 seconds. Additionally, it is stated that the vehicle can reach a maximum speed of 217 km/h. This move by Tesla comes following the company's recent layoffs and is seen as a significant step in the Turkish market.
