TOFAŞ's legendary models 'Şahin' and 'Doğan' are returning

As part of the collaboration between Koç Holding, Tofaş, and Stellantis, a commitment was made to the Competition Authority to produce an affordable SUV. The company continues to take new steps to increase its effectiveness in the automotive market.

'Şahin' and 'Doğan', which were produced by TOFAŞ in the 1990s and remained among Turkey's most preferred models for a long time, have reached the preparation stage to be offered for sale again as of 2026.

NEW DESIGN, OLD SPIRIT

It is reported that the characteristic lines of the old models will influence the design of the new versions of these vehicles, which still maintain the interest of car enthusiasts. On the other hand, the interior equipment and technological features of the vehicles will be fully compliant with today's standards.

While production of both models is expected to begin as of 2026, the re-manufactured vehicles are planned to be equipped with modern technology while preserving their iconic design details. Thus, a suitable option will be offered for both those seeking nostalgia and users who want to meet their current needs.
