Companies with the most employees revealed: Only 4 firms from Turkey are on the list
Four companies from Turkey have made it into the list of the 500 companies with the most employees worldwide. Data from Companiesmarketcap has highlighted the employment power of these firms.
Employment figures continue to draw attention in the global business world. According to data published by Companiesmarketcap, there are four firms from Turkey among the 500 companies with the most employees in the world.
At the top of the list is retail giant Walmart, with 2.1 million employees. This number exceeds the populations of countries such as Estonia and Latvia. Walmart is followed by Amazon with 1.56 million employees. In third place is the Chinese automotive manufacturer BYD, with 968,900 employees.
Other major companies in the top 10 include names such as Foxconn, Accenture, Volkswagen, Tata Consultancy Services, DHL, Compass Group, and Jingdong Mall.
4 COMPANIES FROM TURKEY MADE THE LIST
The companies from Turkey that entered the list are Koç Holding, BİM, Turkish Airlines, and Sabancı Holding. Koç Holding ranks 176th with 132,447 employees, while BİM ranks 322nd with 88,336 employees. Turkish Airlines is in 462nd place with 64,570 employees, and Sabancı Holding is in 479th place with 62,786 employees.
