Fabrilla Tekstil declares bankruptcy: Hundreds left unemployed
The concordat application of Kırklareli-based major textile manufacturer Fabrilla Tekstil has been rejected by the court. The company announced that it went bankrupt as of May 5, 2025.
Operating in Kırklareli, Fabrilla Tekstil could not overcome its financial bottleneck, and the company's 'bankruptcy' was announced after its concordat request was not accepted. With this decision, hundreds of people have been left unemployed.
CONCORDAT REQUEST REJECTED
Fabrilla Tekstil Sanayi ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş., which had been going through difficult times for a while due to economic troubles, had filed for a concordat. The Kırklareli 3rd Civil Court of First Instance reviewed the company's request and delivered its verdict at the final hearing.
In the court session held on May 5, it was determined that the company was not in a position to pay its debts, and the concordat request was rejected. Consequently, the company's temporary grace period decisions and all protective measures currently in effect were lifted.

BANKRUPTCY ANNOUNCED
The court announced that Fabrilla Tekstil, registered with the Kırklareli Trade Registry under number 6179, went bankrupt as of 14:48 on May 5, 2025. According to the statement, bankruptcy proceedings will be carried out through a simplified liquidation procedure. This decision means that the company has officially ceased its production and commercial activities. Following the decision, the monitoring and management of the bankruptcy proceedings will be conducted by the Kırklareli Enforcement (Bankruptcy) Office.
