Rising professions revealed! Salaries reach up to 200 thousand TL
According to the World Economic Forum report, traditional professions such as farming, construction craftsmanship, and crane operation are standing out behind popular sectors like artificial intelligence and software. Tower crane operation, in particular, has reached the top with salaries of 150 thousand TL.
Although the development of technology draws the interest of young people toward fields like artificial intelligence, software, and genetic engineering, the latest report from the World Economic Forum has changed this perception. Farming, truck driving, construction craftsmanship, and technical operation have ranked among the most sought-after professions of today.
Speaking to ATV Haber, agricultural worker Kadir Çağlayan expressed the labor shortage in the agricultural sector with these words:
“They don't work, brother; the soil is hard. For 30 years, my wife and I have had to work the field ourselves because we cannot find workers.”
FINDING WORKERS HAS BECOME DIFFICULT
Construction equipment supplier Ertuğrul Dumanoğlu expressed the labor problem in the construction sector as follows:
“There is currently a personnel shortage across the entire sector. Qualified personnel cannot be found. This situation applies not only to heavy machinery but to every area of construction.”
Stating that salaries in the construction sector range between 50,000 TL and 200,000 TL, Dumanoğlu said, “As long as construction and large projects continue, the need for these heavy machines will increase. Construction machinery will be one of the professions of the future.”
Kamil Genç, a crane operator with 20 years of experience, drew attention to the lack of demand for crane operation. Saying, “Young people do not show interest in this profession, but the salaries are quite high,” Genç explained the salary ranges as follows:
Tower crane operators: 150,000 TL
Mobile crane operators: 100,000-120,000 TL
Genç added, “New workers are not being trained, but the future of this profession is very bright.”
DECLINING PROFESSIONS ANNOUNCED
According to the report, cashiering, administrative assistance, and cleaning are among the professions expected to decline in the future. It is estimated that automation systems will come to the fore in these areas due to the impact of technology.
