Political corruption has reached the stage of social decay

Political parties are failing to perform their functions. They are not doing them. Political parties have become alienated. They have lost their primary functions. All parties have become, openly or covertly, the guardians of the capitalist class. They have turned into vehicles for the enrichment of party provincial and district leaders. Political parties have become criminal organizations.

Political parties are ignorant. They have broken away from science and expertise. Political parties have turned into a three-headed, terrifying, lethal, and poisonous snake.

One head of this terrifying monster is religious extremism.

One head is mandate-seeking (subservience to foreign powers).

And one head is ethnic separatism.

The common name of this lethal monster is imperialism.

Imperialism corrupts politics.

Corrupted politics decays the individual, society, and the state.

It turns the individual into a rotten, decayed creature living for their own interests and pleasures.

Oh people, as a society, as a state, and as individuals, we are decaying. We must transition from decay to resurrection as soon as possible. Transitioning to resurrection comes with knowledge and experience. It comes with theory and practice. We must know certain concepts and the answers to certain questions well. As Uğur Mumcu said, “We cannot have an opinion without having knowledge.”

Therefore, let us first answer some questions regarding these issues:

What is political corruption?

Political corruption is the decay of politics, society, the state, and the individual. Political corruption is the decay of capitalism. It is a worldwide decay.

In many developed countries, political corruption continues with all its corrosive effects. Individuals, societies, states, and institutions involved in this process of political decay violate legal rules to achieve their interests. Their lifestyles are defined as political corruption, and their actions are defined as graft.

Political corruption means the illegal use of public power and public resources for private benefit. Such activities by political powers in decision-making positions over the public economy and public resources make political corruption a fundamental problem. In particular, the use of scarce public resources for private interests puts economies into an unstable and problematic process. The reason why economies are dragged from one crisis to another is political corruption.

Public expenditures are used for political interests rather than rationality. This practice prevents public services from being produced in accordance with general economic rules. This situation leads to significant problems in a wide framework, ranging from society's trust in the state to budget deficits, and from waste of resources to economic instability.

In our country, political corruption, human corruption, the corruption of society and the state, and institutional corruption have now reached their final stage.

Decay and destruction are becoming increasingly unstoppable. Unfortunately, political parties do not care much about this disastrous course. There is no solution in the programs of political parties to prevent political and social corruption and decay. Empty concepts and principles, disconnected from reality, science, and expertise, fill party programs.

In fact, municipalities cause great harm to the state and society in terms of their structure. The Court of Accounts (Sayıştay) audit is not sufficient. The internal audits of municipalities and municipal inspectors are also insufficient. Political figures and powerful political elements can very easily ignore and cover up the reports of the Court of Accounts, municipal inspection reports, and internal audit reports.

When the money allocated to municipalities and the services produced by the municipalities are compared, resource utilization in municipalities is based on ruthless waste.

Political parties have based their existence on municipalities. If it weren't for municipalities, political parties would close down.

By now, the provincial and district organizations of political parties exist just for the sake of it. Political parties are actually structures consisting of crowds, not organizations anymore. Especially the exploitation by contractors, and the 'you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours' relationships between politicians and contractors, are dragging our society from one disaster to another. Whoever is elected as mayor, whichever party is elected, they will not be successful within this structure. They will continue to harm Turkey. Anyone who loves their country, please lift your head and take a look at this municipal issue. Have a little pity for this country, for this land, for these citizens, for these poor people, and for these children who go to bed hungry at night.

The path of people who use public resources as they please and get rich from it must be blocked, otherwise, the situation is not good.

Municipalities and political parties are a huge problem for our country, our people, and our state. We are facing a clear and imminent danger.
