Once upon a time, there was a land beyond the Kaf Mountains. This land was known as the land of swindlers. This land had a sultan. In fact, this sultan was someone who had risen to the sultanate through swindling.
Long ago, this country was not a land of swindlers. In fact, the people did not even know the meaning of swindling. People who were devout and prayerful were in the majority. But the people would not allow religion to be used as a tool for politics. Everyone lived their own faith freely. When it came to voting in elections, especially in the sultanate elections,
“Can this man do this job?” was a question frequently asked. They would also often ask, "Will he protect the interests of the people and the state against imperialism and the big money owners? Is he a patriot? Is he a lover of justice? Does he rule the state with law or with decrees?" They always chose very good and valuable sultans. In those days, the countries beyond the Kaf Mountains were ruled by a sultanate. However, the sultan would come to power through elections. Whoever the people chose, that would be the sultan.
Time passed, the world turned, and the societies beyond the Kaf Mountains changed. They had to surrender to one of the fundamental laws of the universe, of reality, that is, of matter: “Everything changes.”
The law of “change” also operated in the land of swindlers beyond the Kaf Mountains. First, politics became corrupted. The society slowly became tainted. Especially the external powers, that is, the imperialist countries and exploiters, were very unhappy that the Sultan came to power through elections. The collaborators in the country and the imperialist states, that is, those who suck the blood of weak countries and exploit them, joined forces. They held a meeting. They debated at length during the meeting. They found a way: This country is a country that loves its religion and respects religion. Let us strike this country through religion.
However, one of the collaborators attending the meeting did not understand what was said. He took the floor and said:
-"Honorable leaders of the supreme imperialist countries and the world's greatest money moguls, oh you supreme ones! How are we going to do this? How are we going to strike through religion?"
The monster in human form, representing the supreme imperialist countries and the money moguls, said:
-"My dear collaborator friend. First, we will raise an imam. We will raise such a blessed man of religion that he will be a man of religion on the outside, but on the inside, he will be one of our shadowless ones. That is, he will be a spy, he will be one of us. He will appear uninterested in politics. All the religious people will compete with each other to kiss his hand."
Collaborator:
-"And then, what will this hodja do?"
The representative of the imperialist states and money moguls replied:
-"This hodja will raise a bird. He will teach the bird to speak. The bird will fly, saying the name of whoever we want to be the sultan. It will wander around in gardens, in the bazaar, in the market, everywhere, shouting 'Give your vote to so-and-so, let him be the sultan.' Then the people will be curious. 'Oh, let us go and ask this blessed hodja,' they will say. They will ask, 'This blessed saintly hodja, what is this bird saying, where did it come from, what does it mean?' And he will explain the bird to the public."
In the end, the collaborator is also convinced. The collaborators, the imperialist states, and the money moguls begin to implement their plan.
The long arm of imperialism finds a parrot of various colors, the likes of which have never been seen or encountered before. They name this parrot the 'bird of state'. And they train this bird of state very well. Later, they find a collaborator of imperialism. But they do not make him feel his collaboration. This man they found was a liar, a cheat, and a swindler who loved money very much. But he would speak very beautifully in front of crowds. He would deceive and swindle people with this speech and make a living from it.
The people go to the Hodja,
They say to the hodja, "Oh blessed person. You are a blessed person who has attained all kinds of secrets. A bird has appeared. It is flying in the bazaar, in the market, in the square, in the dervish lodge, in the palace, everywhere. It is flying everywhere. It is constantly saying a name. 'Give your vote to this person,' it says. 'Let that man be elected sultan,' it says. It says words similar to this. A bird, as they say, does not speak. What kind of bird is this that it speaks like this? What is the secret of this?"
The Hodja says:
-"Oh honorable people, the name of this bird is the bird of state. They call this bird the bird of state. Whoever is to head the state, it goes and lands on his head. There is no need for voting or anything like that in the sultanate election. We will catch this bird, put it in a cage. On election day, we will take it out of the cage, we will let it fly, and whoever this bird lands on, that person will be the sultan. There is no need for elections or anything."
The people agree with the blessed man of religion:
"-This man is telling the truth. This man is a blessed person."
As a result, the people surrender all their will to a bird. Supposedly the bird of state. In reality, the parrot of imperialism.
Well, anyway, let us not drag it out, let us not lose the essence. The day of the election has arrived, and in the meantime, they have trained the bird well. The bird flies and lands on the head of the collaborator swindler chosen by imperialism.
On election day, the fake hodja, whom we call a blessed man of religion, takes the cage in his hand and comes to the city square. He takes the bird out of the cage and releases it. The bird wanders around the city square once. It wanders twice. On the third time, it goes and lands on the head of the collaborator swindler chosen by imperialism.
The people object:
-"Hey, this man is well-known. He loves money very much. He is not honest. He is a swindler. How can we trust him and give him the sultanate...?"
No, say the rampant representatives of imperialism, the money moguls, the collaborators, the master hodja, they all oppose it together. They say:
"Whoever the bird of state lands on, that is the bird of state! That is it! The bird of state wanted it this way, it will be this way. Otherwise, great disasters will happen. It means the supreme of the supreme wanted it this way. The shadowless ones wanted it this way. It will be this way."
The public:
"-Let us agree to this too," they say.
And the man becomes sultan.
He becomes sultan, but slowly swindling, trickery, robbery, lies, and favoritism spread in the country. Law turns into decree.
Unemployment, high cost of living. Scarcity, poverty. Ignorance. The media and press are just playing around. The people are confused. The vast majority of intellectuals become collaborators of imperialism.
In one of the coffeehouses, the public is sitting sadly and hopelessly. Everyone's head is between their hands, lost in hopeless thoughts. One of those sitting in the coffeehouse asks an old man about this.
"-Grandpa," he says, "we have surrendered a great country to the mind of a bird. We are being governed by the mind of a bird. How did this happen?"
Upon this, the old man tells a story like this:
-"There was a mysterious city in the middle of the forested areas of India. There were many pigeons in this city. All the pigeons were well-fed, beautiful pigeons. The people there loved the meat of these pigeons very much.
One day, a man decided to set a trap for the pigeons. He made traps from the hairs taken from a horse's tail. He tied each of these traps made of horsehair to a rope side by side. He also tied the rope to a huge horseshoe. Then he poured wheat into and around the trap. As the pigeons were eating this wheat they loved so much, they fell into the trap one by one. Exactly 40 pigeons fell into the trap. They started to struggle.
One of the pigeons said:
"-Stop, do not struggle in vain. If we struggle separately, we will not get results. We must unite our strength. We must unite our minds, we must act with a common mind. We must act in an organized manner, otherwise, none of us has a chance to escape alone; individual struggles, individual flapping of wings have no benefit to anyone, but they are harmful to everyone."
The solution is to unite our forces, unite our minds, act with a common mind, and act in an organized manner.
Then the pigeons immediately chose the pigeon that made this suggestion as their leader right there and organized on the spot. They said, 'You give the signal, let us flap our wings all together.' The leader of the pigeons, who took off all together, also accepted and gave a signal, and they all flapped their wings together. They took off, crossed mountains and hills, and disappeared from sight.
Then they came and landed on a hill that a human could not reach. They started to cut the horsehairs with their beaks. Later, mice and other rodents also came and saved the pigeons from the trap."
The old man finished his tale here. He said:
"-The solution is to be organized. If a society is organized, people are safe. In an unorganized society, people erode each other. An organized society and a common mind save people from all kinds of traps. For this reason, let us also chart a path for ourselves: Let our path and our goals be an organized society, a free individual, and a state of law."
