You might say it doesn't exist, but...

YOU MIGHT SAY IT DOESN'T EXIST, BUT...

A Bektashi man,

On a Friday,

Was passing

In front of

The city's largest mosque.

It was exactly the time for Friday prayers.

The congregation was crowded.

The imam is preaching.

And our Bektashi,

Curious about what the imam is saying,

Approaches the mosque door closely.

To see what the imam will say,

He sticks his head inside.

He listens with curiosity.

The imam says:

-Hey! O Muslim congregation,

My esteemed Muslim brothers!

God,

Is neither on earth nor in the heavens.

He cannot be seen with the eye nor touched by the hand.

He has no place.

He is not in any one place.

The Bektashi, hearing this,

He couldn't hold back and shouted at the teacher.

He said:

-Oh, venerable teacher,

You might say

It doesn't exist, but

You cannot say it.

God's place and abode,

What is and what is not.

Come on then.

If they had asked you to tell it too,

I wonder what you would have said?

I think you would have said this:

-“Huuu to the truth!

God is great!

God is one.

Infinite,

It is an indivisible whole.

It encompasses all existence.

All reality,

All time and space,

Are within that infinite unity.

They are within that indivisible integrity.

It is the causeless cause of evolution.

Of those that are coming into being

It is the cause of the causeless.

It has not given birth.

It has not been born.

It cannot be compared to anything.

It cannot be likened to anything.

All sciences confirm it.

Every being is one in its infinity.

Every human 

It is a piece of God.

That is why the human being is so important.

God is love.

And so is the human being.

If there is no love in your heart,

You are not counted as human. 

You are a monster in human form.
