Is it now time for our martyrs to be put on trial?

Abdullah Öcalan.

He graduated from the Land Registry and Cadastre Vocational High School and worked as a cadastre officer in Diyarbakır.

He transferred his civil service to Istanbul and studied for a while at the Istanbul Faculty of Law and the Ankara Faculty of Political Sciences.

Actually, he did not complete his studies, nor did he graduate. He first showed an inclination toward an extreme right-wing mentality, and then in 1974, he founded a secret association with an extreme left-wing tendency, but when the association he founded was shut down in 1975, he decided on separatism.

To this end, he went to Diyarbakır in 1978 and founded the illegal PKK armed terrorist organization there under the name of the Kurdistan Workers' Party.

Until July 1979, he gathered supporters in the Southeast under the name "Apocular" and engaged in activities such as roadblocks, extortion, threats, looting, and kidnapping with these supporters.

Realizing he was about to be caught, he fled to Syria, and from there to the Beqaa Valley in Palestine.

He strengthened the PKK organization in the camp he established in the Palestine/Beqaa Valley, and in June 1981, he took his 300-person team from Turkey with him and began armed training there against Turkey with the support of some states.

We are tearing ourselves apart for Palestine today, but back then, all the organizations in Palestine and the Palestinian people gave full support to this PKK terrorist organization. With this support, the organization comfortably continued its training activities in the region.

Let me be clearer. He received military training from the Palestinians. From the Palestinians for whom we are writing elegies today.

Anyway.

After reaching a certain level of power, Abdullah Öcalan made his decision and began armed actions within Turkey. To this end, on the evening of August 15, 1984, he carried out armed attacks on the police stations of the Republic of Turkey in the Eruh district of Siirt and the Şemdinli district of Hakkari, martyring soldiers.

He wounded civilians.

In the 1990s, taking advantage of the power vacuum in Northern Iraq, he moved to Qandil and increased his training and armed attacks against Turkey.

He brought thousands of terrorists into the country.

This time, he carried out his armed attacks not with a few terrorists, but with 100-150 terrorists, and martyred and massacred thousands of people, regardless of whether they were children, civilians, or soldiers.

In short, he declared war on Turkey.

On March 21, 1992, he called on the Kurds to rise up and started an insurgency against the State of the Republic of Turkey in Cizre, Şırnak, Nusaybin, Van, and Yüksekova. This insurgency continued until 1999. In 1999, under the pressure of the determined administrators of that period, Abdullah Öcalan was captured abroad by the Special Forces, a unit of the Turkish Armed Forces, and brought to Turkey.

He was thrown into Imralı.

During this period of insurgency, he martyred a total of more than 6 thousand Turkish soldiers. He massacred more than 5 thousand civilians.

These figures are not simple figures, of course. They are not even the figures of a major insurgency. They are officially the figures of a war. He himself already calls this a "low-intensity war."

It is unknown how many "openings" (reconciliation processes) have passed in Turkey, but,

When Devlet Bahçeli made a statement such as "Let Abdullah Öcalan attend the DEM Party Group Meeting, announce from the podium that weapons are being laid down, and pave the way for the 'right to hope' assessment, we will accept it," a deputy named Mehmet Ali Çelebi also made a post on X on October 23 in support of Devlet Bahçeli, saying, "The essential thing is the internal front. It is the internal front itself that destroys the country from its foundation," which belongs to Atatürk.

He referred to Devlet Bahçeli, who said "Let Abdullah Öcalan come and speak in Parliament," as a "wise leader" and said that they were "unhesitatingly by his side."

Oh, you confused minds. What will Abdullah Öcalan do by speaking in parliament?

He will defend himself. He will defend his actions, he will blame the state and the soldiers. What else can he do?

The man's intention is clear. He previously wrote a book titled "The Path of the Kurdistan Revolution" and issued a manifesto, arguing that the PKK's actions should not be evaluated as terrorism, and wrote a book titled "From the Sumerian Priest State to Democratic Civilization," in which he outlined the framework for establishing a Kurdistan state in the Middle East.

He will defend them and continue to defend them.

What are you expecting?

Is this what you mean by the internal front?

Separatism?

These gentlemen have attributed such a meaning to Atatürk's words "The essential thing is the internal front" that we cannot help but say "well done, cousin."

My friend, Atatürk said these words for the Parliament that was in turmoil before the Great Offensive and gave a message of "Unity and solidarity before the war." Not for you to bring Apo out from inside.

What will you do, will you strengthen the internal front by establishing a Kurdistan in the Middle East?

I am amazed at your logic.

Unfortunately, this nation saw the officers of the Republic of Turkey being tried as terrorists in the 2010s.

It also saw those who cursed our War of Independence martyrs and dug up their graves.

And those who cursed their ancestors.

But I don't think it has seen our martyrs who gave their lives against PKK terrorism being put on trial.

I guess we will see that now.

Look, the situation is evolving in that direction at this rate.
