A postmodern conquest operation with short passes in a tight space!

Knock-off Ray-Ban or Oakley sunglasses, fleece jackets bought from street vendors in Gaziantep but always bearing the North Face or Under Armour logos, puffer jackets that clearly came from the Istanbul subcontracting market, and American-made tactical vests that ended up in the smuggler's market...

They have completed their outfits—accentuated by AK-47 Kalashnikovs in their hands and Aselsan radio accessories on their belts—with chin-strap beards and dirty looks!

In the background, large armored vehicles and tanks—whose origins, sources, and methods of procurement are unclear, or perhaps all too clear...

With beatbox-style chants of 'takbir' accompanied by a deep, echoing Mehter march, and the buzzing of drones serving as the soundtrack!

This is our new acceptable norm in the Middle East now...

How reasonable it is remains debatable, but the events unfolding in Syria right under our noses since November 27 have shattered our perception of 'reality' in foreign policy!

It is like a bad joke; almost the entire world is applauding terrorists, who are officially designated as such, for toppling a government recognized and accepted as legitimate by the United Nations.

But they are unaware of whom they are applauding.

Supposedly to liberate Syria, they have rounded up and brought in Uyghurs, Tajiks, Uzbeks—whoever they could find.

It is a 'topple Assad, take the money' kind of operation...

It is not that there are no Syrian Arabs within Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, but the weight lies with these jihadists they have recruited from here and there.

They are terrorists, plain and simple!

Everyone is in a panic... 

Let's not dig too deep into their background and just call them "opposition"... 

So that our current endeavor is not compromised.

A spirit of conquest is also running wild among us. 

They are almost ready to declare Tayyip as Fatih Sultan Mehmet.

Raising the Turkish flag at the Aleppo Citadel, posing in front of the castle gate with black SUVs bearing Gaziantep license plates, and so on.

It is guaranteed that they will extract a heroic tale for the government from this!

Perhaps his enthusiasm was dampened because he could not be the one to perform the first prayer at the Umayyad Mosque after Assad was toppled, but he must now be looking at the 'success' of those he has carefully nurtured for 13 years with tears of pride and a puffed-up chest.

Open up the subliminal weapons of the other side of the Atlantic, Instagram, TikTok, and their derivatives; the guys are filming videos while shouting, 'We will establish an Islamic regime,' 'We will bring Sharia'.

No one bothers to come out and ask, 'Who gave you the right to rule Syria with Sharia? What kind of freedom is this?'

Whoever wants to feed what to whom and how, the whole sentence is right here!

They have no effort to hide themselves or keep from being exposed!

But imperialism is doing its best to make this mob, which has no connection or relation to democracy, fundamental rights, law, or even the most untouchable human values, look sympathetic.

They want to hide the fact that they are working together with terrorists. 

But the 'post-modern' world's 'post-truth' mentality, fed by identity politics, is quite inclined to derive a jurisprudence from here that could set the whole world, especially the Middle East, on fire.

As long as religion, faith, sect, ethnicity, gender, or something similar is mentioned in the sentence! 

The rest is just empty talk!

Then everything else comes to a standstill.

Supposedly, there will be a federation, or perhaps a confederation, in Syria. 

To see the state of countries whose administrative and political structures are shaped by religion, sect, and ethnicity, one only needs to look at Lebanon.

That is, for those who want to look!

Let's say they proceed down this path; where does it lead?

This is where the trouble begins!

In other words, if one day bloodthirsty terrorists, recruited from here and there, topple the legitimate administration of any country by force of arms simply because their imperialist masters want it so, and if they establish emirates, cantons, or autonomous administrations as they please in those countries, will the whole world accept this by looking at the Syrian example?

Unfortunately, it is not just the people of my country, but the growing clumsiness of the masses across all nations who have invested their minds and thoughts in social media, who live in a parallel universe, and who have taken the pronouncements of the 'Jedi'—who pontificate on news channels with pointers in their hands—as gospel, that is exhausting our hopes.

After all, there is no one left to ask questions or wonder what is actually happening.

Indeed, for this very reason, in a world where the majority consumes whatever is put in front of them, it seems there is little point in the zeal to explain that Hayat Tahrir al-Sham is a terrorist organization...

It appears that before long, the fine line between arms and legitimacy will become increasingly blurred.

Regardless of who is on their left or right, or what lies ahead or behind them, those who take up arms will be seen as gaining political ground, and will be considered acceptable, reasonable, and more importantly, legitimate.

Imperialists are creating a foundation to reshape the world in line with their own supreme interests through conflicts they conduct via ethnic, sectarian, and religious subcontractors.
