'Know-it-all'

Özgür Özel has called those who object to the CHP joining the 'Abdullah Öcalan Commission' in Parliament "know-it-alls."

Are we surprised? No.

He had previously lashed out at those who opposed him, saying, "We have no business with cowards and those lacking self-confidence."

How those who see the country rapidly hurtling toward an abyss and issue warnings are considered cowards and lacking self-confidence is something that strongly requires explanation!

In recent times, he hasn't just taken his foot off the brake; he has also lost control between his mind and his tongue.

Clearly, he is very angry.

He is lashing out not because he is right, but on the contrary, because he knows that the criticisms directed at him are extremely accurate; he scolds those who object; he shouts and yells; he lashes out at anyone who raises an eyebrow.

It is as if he senses that these stumbles of his do not bode well.

For example, on August 1, just one week after saying, "We joined the commission so that this commission would be transparent and open to the public; that is our goal," he approved the Abdullah Öcalan Commission meeting behind closed doors and in secret.

Was it so hard to say, "We have nothing to hide from the public. Either there will be no confidentiality decision in the meetings, or we are not part of this"?

Yet, just three days earlier, they were saying, "If we are there, we can convey what happens to the public."

All the promises they made to the people of our country have thus become lies. They are doing backflips every night on the news channels funded by the CHP to save the situation.

But no matter what they do, the government has locked the door; what is discussed in the meeting will remain secret for 10 years, and the minutes will not be given to anyone.

Then they came up with an excuse, saying, "The Ministry of Interior and the MIT provided briefings there; state secrets needed to be kept confidential."

As if they are fooling children.

What could possibly remain secret in a commission where members of the DEM Party are present!

Let no one have any doubt that as soon as they step out the door, they will be broadcasting everything live, down to the last detail, both to İmralı and to America.

The American Embassy in Ankara has already started working overtime.

In short, Abdullah Öcalan will know what is happening, and America will know, but when it comes to the people of our country, they will say, "Sorry."

And we are supposed to swallow this? There is no such thing as a free lunch...

The saying, "No one should fear the commission that the CHP is a part of, but rather fear the place where it is not..." went up in smoke.

Özgür Özel talks a big game, but when it comes to taking a political position based on the principles of the CHP and the founding philosophy of the Republic, he falls flat like a dud cannonball that has lost its fire.

Because, in reality, he has no such concern.

Let us write it clearly.

He is just as much in favor of being part of this betrayal process as the People's Alliance and the DEM members. If he could find an easy way, he wouldn't hesitate to embrace Abdullah Öcalan. It doesn't suit his interests for now to anger the CHP voters who are already on edge. Instead, he seeks legitimacy through the crowds he gathers at rallies.

Let us not immediately start singing the song "Where is my fifty dirhams of pastrami?"; they will cook the meal nicely and put it in front of us without scaring the people of our country too much.

The one who takes the horse will cross Üsküdar. We will suddenly see that the laws Abdullah Öcalan wants have passed through the commission with the CHP's approval, and the "draft recommendation proposals" have quickly reached Parliament... And a happy ending!

It is not just Özgür Özel; Ekrem İmamoğlu is also dying to be involved in this imperialist project in one way or another. The article he wrote for The Economist is beyond grave...

We understand from the fact that both of them are eager for this betrayal process that imperialism has completely taken the opposition under its influence.

Project chairmen, project presidential candidates...

Unfortunately, there is no strong voice of objection from within the party. Members of parliament, provincial and district heads, delegates, and party members are content to watch silently. Whenever they release a couple of fabricated polls saying, "İmamoğlu is widening the gap" three days a week, they silence the dissenting voices, and that's that.

Apparently, someone whispered in their ears, "You cannot come to power without getting into America's good graces."

The way to do this is clear: unconditional cooperation with the Kurdish nationalists...

Let us end our article by saying that they are doing everything they can to prove those who say, "They will make the founding party tear down the Republic of Turkey," right.
