He has no intention of leaving things to chance

The agenda in this country changes so rapidly that it has become almost impossible to keep up with even a fraction of it.

Let us try to look at the "big picture," as the chorus of sycophants who constantly pontificate on news channels and every conceivable social media platform are fond of saying.

In reality, everything that is happening, being done, or being carried out is for the sake of ensuring that one person—and only one person—remains in his seat until his final hour arrives...

We are trying to explain this over and over again as best as we can.

There is a massive theater playing out before us.

Phrases like "those who come by election, leave by election" no longer hold any meaning. The people of my country may not be fully aware of it, but democracy in this nation was suspended a long time ago.

Everything now rests between the two lips of Tayyip Erdoğan. Do not be fooled by his claims that he has "no intention of running" again...

Everyone knows full well that this is his primary concern.

Let us not ignore the "fine-tuning" performed by Bahçeli, or the words of Ömer Çelik: "We desire for our President to continue. Mr. Bahçeli's statement was very comprehensive; we share the same sentiment. The final decision always rests with our nation. In a democracy, whatever the nation says, goes."

The excuse is already prepared: "One cannot shirk duty..."

He has absolutely no intention of leaving things to chance.

He is constantly on alert to avoid any accidents along the way...

For this reason, he is constantly updating his strategy—to use a trendy term from recent times. He eliminates any potential threat with surgical precision.

Clearly, the arrest of İmamoğlu and his entourage was not enough.

What if the CHP pulls a surprise now...

Let us set aside those who engage in political engineering in favor of Özgür Özel, but even the public opinion polls quietly commissioned by big capital show that Tayyip Erdoğan and the AKP do not have enough popular support to remain in power alone.

The direction of the compass has changed.

It is precisely for this reason that the CHP, which is becoming a source of hope for the people of my country—who have completely lost faith despite all the wobbling and various missteps—must have its spirit broken; it must be brought down.

Who has the audacity to demand power in the rally squares...

Until yesterday, Özgür Özel was just right for them. But when the people of my country began to inflate the balloon in desperation, those in Beştepe went into alarm mode.

The message is clear:

Do not cross the line!

If you cross it, you will be dealt such a blow that you will never be able to stand straight again.

The button had already been pressed with the lawsuit filed to cancel the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress. But it became crystal clear during the second hearing of the case; a comprehensive operation against the CHP is imminent.

The statements in the court record, such as "it is understood that the lawsuit concerns the determination that the congress held on November 4-5, 2023, is null and void, its cancellation, and the removal of Özgür Özel, the Central Executive Board (MYK), and party assembly members from office on the grounds that it is flawed due to absolute nullity (the invalidation of a legal transaction because it does not comply with the conditions set by contract and law), and the reinstatement of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and the previous party assembly members," serve as a flare for us...

Tomorrow or the next day, we will say that the coming of Thursday was evident from Wednesday, but by then, it will be too late.

Let no one doubt that he has also received approval and support from across the Atlantic. Trump is always behind him. Besides, with all his own troubles and worries, who cares if Turkey's main opposition party is torn to pieces!

It seems that Özgür Özel's hasty decision to convene a congress, perhaps in the hope of escaping this lawsuit, has not been of much use.

The next hearing is on June 30!

Whether they will negotiate with the palace by then, what they will put on the table if they do, what they will get in return, or whether they have foreseen all of this and prepared a "Plan B," we do not know for now.

Of course, these things are not like running a marathon; they require strong political wisdom.

Good luck finding that in the current CHP...

If they take the key from Özgür Özel and hand it over to Kılıçdaroğlu, then it is all over.

Whether the CHP will then split in two, divide into three, or fall apart completely and turn into a canary lovers' association, we will all live to see, and with that, let us put a period to our article.
