Here is Trump's plan: Take the stage with applause, pose for photos, then settle into Gaza!

We do not know how historians will write about these days a century from now; but we can already guess that they will not use very positive terms to describe the period we are living in.

If one might put it that way, the world has turned into one giant circus. From the juggler to the clown, the magician to the acrobat, and the trapeze artist, we have all sat down to watch the whole spectacle, asking, "What will happen next?"

Even the word "dystopia" is no longer enough to describe the circumstances and conditions we are in. The developments are not a good sign at all; especially for us.

The goal of imperialism is to reshape the Middle East. This time, they want unconditional surrender so that their masters do not have any headaches later on.

The Gaza issue is the point where this calculation has emerged and taken hold.

And Trump…

After blood has flowed like a river for two years, tens of thousands of people have lost their lives, and this tiny piece of land has been almost wiped off the map, he has taken the stage as a "showman," pretending that the time for peace has arrived.

With a peace banner in his hand and the sound of applause in the background; the cameras are ready…

Middle East diplomacy, let's call it a Hollywood scene. The "peace dove" poses he adopts while admitting in the Israeli Parliament that he is an accomplice to someone like Netanyahu, who has become an object of hatred in the world; the signing ceremony in Egypt; and then, the flashy sentences delivered in front of the cameras as if they were good news:

"A new era is beginning!"

We all know that the door to a new era is opening; but where the good news is, that remains a mystery.

It is truly like a joke!

But let us ask: Is this a new era, or just a new act in the same play in the Middle East theater?

The Palestinian people are not at the core of the plan pushed upon us; the people of Gaza are extras, Hamas is the discarded leading man, an obsolete and worn-out old tool.

Turkey, Egypt, and Qatar are just stage decorations!

It is presented as the return of those who bring order to the world. An effort to revive the American Century, or let us call it empty window-dressing diplomacy. For Trump, this is an opportunity; he wants to go into the 2026 Senate midterm elections with the headline, "I brought peace to the Middle East."

Let us ask clearly: Who is the signed agreement for? For the Palestinians, or for Trump's election campaign?

Any signature placed without answering this question truthfully cannot pass the test of history.

In other words, for His Excellency, the issue is not peace or anything of the sort; it is an opportunity to determine the headlines with the bonus that will come from this and to consolidate his political position. Who knows, perhaps dreams of a third presidential term by bending the Constitution…

But when you scratch the surface of the picture, what emerges is not peace, but a document of unconditional surrender where democracy, human rights, law, and more importantly, security for the Palestinians are not in question.

Trump is writing history in his own way; but with whose ink?

Is the whole issue behind the scenes just to erase Hamas from history, or is it to settle into Gaza, using the excuse Hamas provided on October 7, 2023, never to leave again?

We can see that they have rolled up their sleeves to completely push all Palestinians out of politics by "disarming" a "proxy" organization they have used for years.

The most applauded article of the agreement is the comprehensive disarmament of Hamas. According to Trump, it is the first condition… He presents this as the "cornerstone of peace."

However, he is knowingly and intentionally touching the shadow of the issue, not its root. Because on paper, it sounds nice; the guns will fall silent, and life will begin again in Gaza.

But will just silencing the guns guarantee peace?

This is where the trouble really begins.

As long as the political, social, and economic injustice fueled by the dirty games of imperialism in the Middle East is not eliminated, this will only be a short interval of silence; let us underline this with a thick pen.

What follows will be blood again, tears again, tragedy again!

Hamas will lay down its arms, fine; but what about the political representation of the Palestinians, their right to decide their own future, and the institutions that will build and develop democracy?

Who will do what to ensure that people are not handed over to another religious mentality that is a remnant of the Middle Ages?

It is very clear that these have not been addressed. Or did they say, "When the time comes, we will carry out our business by talking about religion, faith, God, and the book again"?

What they are marketing as an agreement is just a "decoration" for the political engineering of imperialism that does not represent the will of the Palestinian people; there is nothing more to it. Speeches that prioritize security instead of the people's demands, humanitarian aid, and reconstruction funds…

The political existence of Palestine has been pushed into the shadow of economic aid.

And what about Turkey's role as a guarantor?

Is it prestige, or a trap?

Or is it just material given to Tayyip Erdoğan to sell domestically?

This is being shown as a diplomatic achievement, but we do not know how much substance it has.

If Turkey is truly going to be a guarantor, it means it will take responsibility on the ground. Who will ensure the security of Gaza? If Israeli soldiers withdraw, who will fill the void?

If Turkey remains only the political guarantor of this agreement, it will go no further than garnering prestige for the government at home. But if it goes to the field, that is, if it sends troops to Gaza, then the risk of friction with Israel, the US, and even internal Palestinian groups will arise; the consequences will not be good for us at all. You do not need a crystal ball to predict this, just a bit of foresight!

In short, if the "friend" image Turkey has gained in the eyes of the Palestinian people is squeezed into Trump's photo frame, this too will erode. Then, being a guarantor will cease to be a diplomatic glory for Tayyip Erdoğan; it will become a geopolitical landmine. The government will become a partner in a potential failure instead of a guarantor of peace.

The Foreign Ministry's years of effort to provide "people-based legitimacy" to the Palestinian cause will also go to waste.

In short, imperialism does not want real peace in Gaza, but a controlled calm until it finishes its business in the Middle East.
