His real concern is regime change in Iran!

When Israel pressed the button for an attack on June 13, the excuse it presented was to eliminate the existential threat posed by Iran's nuclear capacity.

However, Netanyahu has another strategic goal beyond this excuse: to topple the regime in Iran!

Moreover, he does not even feel the need to hide this. He came out and said, "The time has come for the Iranian people to rise up and unite around their flag and historical heritage to free themselves from this evil and oppressive regime."

Far beyond this being just what Netanyahu desires, it is no secret that America has detailed strategic planning for regime change in Iran.

As far as can be understood, the main outlines of the plan are as follows:

Israel, with the support of the US behind it, will strike Iran for days, weeks, or perhaps months under a pretext that Western countries can accept as "reasonable"; in the chaos that will emerge, Kurds, Azeris, the Sunni minority, and supporters of the monarchy will be stirred up, major uprisings will break out, the country's national integrity and political unity will crack, and when Iran is on the verge of de facto disintegration due to this turmoil, the mullah regime will collapse!

An administration supported by America and Israel will take office to save the country from the edge of the abyss. A new constitution, a so-called new contract; with fancy words like "Iranian peoples" and "Democratic Confederalism," autonomy will be granted first to the Kurds and then to the Azeris around Tabriz to gain the support of Turkey and Azerbaijan, and cantons like those in Syria will emerge.

Already, the PKK's Iranian branch, PJAK, is waiting like a hungry wolf, so to speak.

After a while, we will see that Iran has become a country that is whole on the map but de facto fragmented!

Just like in Iraq and Syria...

Perhaps the monarchy will be reinstated, and Prince Reza Pahlavi, who is in exile, will leave America, come to Iran, and take over the administration.

It is known that he is in serious preparation.

For example, immediately after Israel began striking Iran, he attacked Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei via social media, stating, "This war is not between Iran and the Iranian nation; it is between the Islamic Republic and Khamenei," and not stopping there, he called on the Iranian armed forces and security forces, saying, "This regime does not value your lives or our Iran. Separate yourselves from them and join the people."

Then he openly called on the Iranian people to engage in civil resistance against the Islamic Republic, saying, "The solution is to overthrow this regime through street protests and nationwide strikes."

However, let us put a big question mark over how much support he has among the Iranian people or groups opposed to the regime.

Of course, this planning must also be read in conjunction with the government's so-called "Terror-Free Turkey" initiative. These are different legs of the same plan. When we look at the whole picture, we can see that the Greater Middle East Project is running smoothly with a few minor updates.

But the critical question here is this:

Will this calculation that Israel and the strategic mind behind it made at home hold up in the marketplace?

I once asked Osman Korutürk, one of the diplomats who knows the Middle East best and who also served as Turkey's Ambassador to Tehran, whether it would be possible to change the regime in Iran through external influence...

He said, "No matter how distressed the people are, even if they complain, they rally around the regime when there is an external threat." He gave an answer to the effect that Shia, whether Persian or Azeri, binds the Iranian people together like glue, and he cited the Iran-Iraq war as an example.

For years, every time I went to Tehran, I asked our ambassadors the same question. I received more or less the same answer from all of them.

However, conditions are a bit different now...

A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since the 2000s.

No matter what anyone says, the mullah regime has rotted both the Iranian society and the Iranian state from within.

One must be blind not to see this.

The ancient Iranian state cannot offer prosperity to its people despite all its wealth. Democracy, human rights, the rule of law, and the like are nowhere to be found. Corruption, bribery, cronyism, and nepotism have run rampant. While a certain group lives in infinite wealth, the vast majority of the people struggle with poverty.

I heard recently that an Iranian came to Turkey and bought 100, yes you read that right, exactly one hundred apartments in the newly built residences in Istanbul, and with cash at that... I don't know if it's an urban legend, but I have witnessed many times that wealthy Iranians spend money recklessly when they come to Turkey or go to any Western country.

Of course, Iran is not waiting to fall like a ripe pear, but let us underline that those who are fed up with the regime inside - and their numbers are by no means negligible - could easily become collaborators. In other words, it is not difficult at all for Israel to recruit agents to work against Iran. That is precisely why it can easily carry out pinpoint operations as it wishes.

Despite everything, a chain reaction against the regime has not started with Israel's attack.

At least for now.

A coup from within the system also does not seem very possible. Because all key points, institutions, and organizations of critical importance are in the hands of the hardline faction of the mullah regime.

So, could Israel be attacking to bring the mullahs to a state where they will not be a threat to it without toppling the regime in Iran?

It is possible. But considering the reason for the existence of the regime in Iran and the theological paradigm it is based on, we can think that even if the mullahs take a step back today, they will implement their old policy against Israel again tomorrow.

Let us not skip the economic dimension of the issue.

For example, when Russia invaded Ukraine, the rising oil prices worked in Putin's favor. However, a similar situation is not the case for Iran, because it is under embargo and can sell the vast majority of its oil to China.

Since China buys Iranian oil at a fixed price through long-term agreements, even if prices rise, this will not be of any benefit to Iran.

The economic difficulties experienced by the people will increase.

It is difficult to predict where the matter will evolve before this dust settles. However, if Iran returns to the negotiating table, it might be relieved to some extent as it would take Israel's excuse away. But then it would still have to struggle with intense pressure from America.

In short, we are going through an extremely critical period. The developments regarding Iran will perhaps be a breaking point in the fate of this entire geography.

Let us end our article by saying that we will all wait and see together.
