The details have begun to emerge slowly.
Those who are somewhat aware of the political developments in the country have certainly guessed; the information leaking into the corridors has clearly shown that the political Islamist government and the imperialist-fed terrorist organization intend to join hands and place dynamite at the foundations of Turkey.
It is clear that they have already shaken hands!
For now, there is only the prelude.
Let the people of my country be even more enchanted so that they can resolve the issue without understanding what is happening, or as the saying goes, without even moving a leaf!
Abdullah Öcalan wants Articles 42 and 66 of the Constitution to be amended.
In return, the government says, “Fine, let it be as you wish. But in exchange, you must support us in amending Article 101.”
This means the following;
Article 42 contains the provision that 'No language other than Turkish can be taught as a mother tongue to Turkish citizens in educational and training institutions.'
Abdullah Öcalan wants this article to be amended to make education in a mother tongue other than Turkish possible.
Making Kurdish a language of instruction is just a starting point. What follows is a process leading to the mental and physical fragmentation of Turkey.
Those who say, 'Oh no, that wouldn't happen, let's not exaggerate,' should take the trouble to look at the process in Iraq.
For example, before the Coalition Force began protecting the Kurdish region from the air in 1992, the language of instruction in northern Iraq was Arabic alongside Kurdish.
Children were able to speak Arabic like a native language after finishing high school.
This opened the door to significant job opportunities for all of them in every Arab country, from Morocco to Kuwait, and from Saudi Arabia to Syria.
Ever since America detached the Kurdish region from the central government and Saddam withdrew his administrative capacity from there, children have been receiving education only in Kurdish.
Of course, I am excluding the children of the Barzani family and the surrounding tribes who are educated in America, England, and France, but poor Kurdish children, not knowing any other language, have become ready-made serfs, dependent on the Barzanis.
Let us continue...
Article 66 states that 'Everyone bound to the Turkish State by the bond of citizenship is a Turk.'
The terrorist leader is pushing for this expression to be removed and for the Kurdish political identity to be recognized, even if indirectly.
After that, if there is no 'Turk' in the Constitution, then you have autonomy, federation, or self-governance—wherever it may lead. To understand what consequences the ethnic, religious, and sectarian fragmentation of a country detached from its national identity might bring, let us take a look at Lebanon this time.
It must be underlined with a thick pen that making the political and social fault lines of the Middle East fragile brings no benefit to anyone other than the imperialists.
The government, in return for these demands, is concerned with securing support from the DEM Party for the amendment it wants to make to Article 101 of the Constitution.
It wants to remove the word 'two' from the provision that 'a person can be elected president at most twice,' thereby trying to pave the way for Tayyip to run for office again.
This also means that the Neo-Hamidian regime is now becoming institutionalized, and the country is officially transitioning into a sultanate or imperial regime!
In short, the circumstances and conditions are manifesting in an extremely unfavorable nature.
So, while we try to follow these developments in horror, what is the CHP doing?
Unfortunately, Özgür Özel is following in the footsteps of political Islamists and Kurdish nationalists, as if the party he happens to lead did not found Turkey, as if that party did not carry out the revolutions, and as if that party did not ensure the unity and integrity of the country.
It is doubtful whether he knows what he is doing.
He has no objections to the process, neither in terms of procedure nor substance.
It is impossible for him not to be aware of this dirty bargain between the government and Abdullah Öcalan.
He went on to say, "Furthermore, we are pleased to see that there is a consensus on the point that the society should be involved in a process that completely excludes the possibility of this being the first step of a constitutional amendment, given the concerns about potential political interest-based relationships."
Let's set aside the poor phrasing of his sentence. But is it possible that he hasn't realized by now that Tayyip's true intention is to trap the DEM Party for the sake of a constitutional amendment? Could he really have not noticed?
If that is the case, then it is a pity for both this CHP and the members of the CHP...
He cannot possibly be failing to foresee that Turkey will be dragged into a catastrophe.
With the situation as it is, what is the meaning of welcoming, accepting, and speaking with a messenger sent by a registered terrorist with a grin from ear to ear!
Let us ask.
What exactly is the CHP's political position on this matter?
Does anyone know?
Constantly pointing to Parliament for the resolution of the Kurdish issue, as he has made a habit of doing, does not constitute a stance.
Let us continue.
Reacting to the inconsistency of Ahmet Türk—who was removed from his position as Mayor of Mardin by the government through the appointment of a trustee—having been part of the Imralı Delegation alongside Sırrı Süreyya and Pervin Buldan is also not a stance.
Likewise, calling for the establishment of a commission in Parliament is not either...
If anyone can truly understand how the CHP views this issue based on his statements, delivered with a muffled tone, dull eyes, and hand gestures that give the impression of being involuntary, let them come forward.
For instance, he said:
"We are in favor of the Öcalan process being conducted transparently. It is important that such issues are handled not behind closed doors, but within a framework where every segment of society is informed. One of our most important criteria is that the sensitivities of the families of martyrs and our veterans are observed. While steps are being taken on this matter, the views and sensitivities of all segments of society must be taken into account."
Let us ask clearly.
Even if the process is conducted transparently, will the CHP accept terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan as a legitimate representative in the resolution of the "Kurdish issue"?
Where will they place the fact that terrorism is a human rights violation, and how will they justify this politically, legally, and morally?
If they engage with Abdullah Öcalan in one way or another, how will they respect the sensitivities of the families of martyrs and veterans?
Will they accept the tutelage of an armed terrorist organization and its leader over civilian politics?
Özgür Özel is obligated to provide clear and direct answers to these questions.
Otherwise, the rest will be mere empty talk.
But if he is absolutely determined to curry favor with Tayyip in this matter, like children desperate for a pat on the back from their teacher, he could, for instance, act as a matchmaker for Abdullah Öcalan, who intends to get married once he leaves İmralı.
Whether he will buy a washing machine and a refrigerator for the bride's dowry, we do not know.
But he would both win his favor and be worthy of a magnificent greeting.
What more could he ask for!
Moreover, they say the spiritual reward for these matters is great; I will end my article here by saying he should also think about the afterlife.
