'The bandit shall not rule the world'

Just because the registered terrorist Abdullah Öcalan wrote a letter from İmralı, you would think spring has arrived in the country.

Tayyip declared, "As of yesterday, a new phase has been entered in our efforts for a Turkey without terror. We have an opportunity to take a historic step on the path toward the goal of tearing down the wall of terror built between our thousand-year brotherhood," while the younger one, though unable to get up from his sickbed, showed he was still in control of the situation, stating, "The statement penned in İmralı is valuable and important from beginning to end."

Özgür Özel, with the words, "We maintain our stance that the Kurdish issue should be addressed and resolved under the roof of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, encompassing all segments of society and with transparency," implied that he does not have a fundamental objection, but that the procedure is up for debate.

Selahaddin, from prison, lent his support with the tune, "Erdoğan, Bahçeli, and Öcalan... May God grant them all long and healthy lives, but I will do more than my best to ensure the success of these three leaders who have taken initiative for Middle East peace and historic Kurdish-Turkish peace in the final turn of their lives."

The voluntary servants of imperialism, collaborators, fund-recipients, political Islamists, Kurdish nationalists, fake leftists; in short, whoever hates the founding philosophy and Republican values of this country—the religious, the sectarians, the ethnicists—have started to dance with joy.

The palace-fed news channels and social media trolls are whipping it up as much as they can; they are practically declaring a terrorist responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of people a peace dove.

As Orhan Veli said, forget all that, my dear, in one fell swoop...

Neither can a peace dove come out of Abdullah Öcalan, nor can Turkey get rid of the scourge of terror with this mindset, despite what they are trying to push on the people of my country.

The whole issue consists of a theater play performed solely so that one person—but only one person—can remain in that seat until his time comes.

It has been written and drawn for months; there is no one left who doesn't know or hasn't learned.

But there is a much larger scheme plotted behind all of this.

Every glorification made of the letter serves to legitimize the terror that has been sucking the blood of Turkey for over 40 years.

Terror is a crime against humanity; let us emphasize this strongly.

Not only that, but with the photo served from İmralı, it is as if a negotiation table has been set between two legitimate parties and an agreement has been reached, and thus a note has been made for history.

They lined up like a set of glasses and posed beautifully.

Abdullah Öcalan, as if he were not a terror convict, puffed himself up with the air of a triumphant commander.

Sırrı Süreyya's grin is just the icing on the cake.

After all, his enthusiasm had been cut short and he had been left empty-handed at Dolmabahçe. Now that the tide has turned, of course he will sprawl out and pose like a five-cent bagel.

Let's come to the letter...

Öcalan clearly wants to say that we rightfully rebelled against the Republic of Turkey, we fought, and according to the conditions of the day, we achieved success.

He has brought the issue to 'we got what we wanted.'

In a sense, he has declared the victory of the terrorist organization with fancy sentences, and not content with that, he has openly challenged.

He has ranted against the Republic of Turkey, the founding philosophy of the Republic, and its principles.

Supposedly, Kurds and Turks have always seen it as a necessity to remain in an alliance where the voluntary aspect is heavy in order to maintain their existence and survive against hegemonic powers; the last 200 years of capitalist modernity have made the destruction of this alliance the main goal, and this process has accelerated with the monolithic interpretations of the Republic, and so on...

If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you.

Not because of his ignorance, of course.

He cannot say, "We were going to live on with our feudal minds, our medieval mentality, kissing the hands and hems of the landlord, the sheikh, and the dervish, and riding on the backs of the sharecroppers, but the Republic prevented this," so he tries to justify himself by using a lot of word salad.

He is melting the fat in the hearts of political Islamists who hate the Republic with the delusions of his sick mentality, which tries to hide his servitude to imperialists and the crimes he committed against the Turkish Nation.

While doing this, he has not neglected to provide propaganda material to the hands of the pro-government, sycophant crowd.

They have cherry-picked the sentence, "The solutions of a separate nation-state, federation, administrative autonomy, and culturalism, which are the necessary results of an ultra-nationalist drift, cannot provide an answer to historical social sociology," and are trying to convince the people of my country with their small minds by saying, "Look, the man doesn't want the country to be divided, etc."

The man's problem isn't dividing the country; what would he do if he divided it?

His entire calculation is to become a partner in the title deed of Turkey. What follows is an Islamic-Kurdish state under the administration of a 'Caliph' sitting in Istanbul...

Or do you think that democracy will come to the country with a constitutional amendment!

Let us underline the sentence, "The fact that the PKK, which is the longest and most comprehensive rebellion and violence movement in the history of the Republic, found strength and a base, stemmed from the fact that democratic political channels were closed," with a thick pen.

It is clear that he is calculating to exonerate the PKK by accusing the Republic of Turkey with the sentences he sprinkled between his so-called call to lay down arms. That is, someone will come out, just like now, and say, "Oh, what a nice, pleasant letter," and by taking this as an opportunity, he will clear the terrorist organization with a few sentences he has tucked in.

It is not that simple!

Because he could take the end of this to the point of demanding that everyone who has fought against terror with their teeth and nails until today be held accountable.

Let's say he didn't dare to do that, but won't the terrorists who have had the blood of soldiers and police on their hands for so many years be held accountable!

Will they walk around freely, come to İzmir, for example, and open a grocery store, or get a job in an AKP municipality through the government's nepotism!

Or will they enlist as soldiers in the garrison statelet in northern Syria!

All of it is possible.

Don't say, "No, it's not that bad"... We have witnessed dozens of similar examples since 2002.

Unfortunately, the lack of a strong opposition that would oppose all of this on principle works in favor of both the government and the monster of İmralı.

But still, one shouldn't lose heart. Something changes, everything changes!

Without concluding our sentences, let us stand in respect one last time before the great master by saying, "The bandit shall not rule the world," before he sets out on his final journey, and then put a period to our article.
