The CIA's 'snotty preacher'

When the news arrived, not many people believed it.

As always, we thought it was fabricated to get engagement on social media, but then we learned that he had truly died.

Fethullah Gülen has departed this world without answering for the great crimes he committed against this country, its people, and everyone he hated in his diseased mind: its soldiers, judges, prosecutors, journalists, doctors, scientists, women, children, and youth.

The imam will ask before the burial, so let us say it now: we did not think well of him, not at all.

He played a leading role in plunging the country into medieval darkness.

Let's rewind the tape.

He was involved in the dirtiest projects of the Cold War that stained Turkey with blood.

Tasked with fighting communism upon instructions from the other side of the Atlantic, he was well-utilized by the so-called Washington-backed establishment of that era, and when his usefulness expired toward the end of the 90s, he found refuge with his master in America.

He was nothing more than an ignorant, tearful, snotty preacher.

But over the past 30 years, with the support of right-wing governments at times and the path cleared by foreign intelligence services at others, he had built a serious community; he had begun to manage significant capital through his schools, media organizations, and companies.

He had infiltrated the judiciary and civil administration, primarily the military, seized control of the police, entered the country's most sensitive institutions, and penetrated its very capillaries.

But he was not in the foreground. He was waiting for his own right time in a quiet, insidious way.

Then...

His path was cleared when the political Islamists came to power in 2002.

He would finally be able to reap the rewards of the investment he had made for years in the poor village children he educated in places converted from madrasas, and the impoverished youngsters whose brains he washed in dormitories.

He formed the operational cadre of the AKP.

First, he neutralized patriotic soldiers, and then anyone who could be a threat to him!

He did whatever was necessary to change and transform the country in line with the strategic interests of the USA.

He blew such a wind of terror that not only those who openly opposed him, but even those who just raised an eyebrow were sent to Silivri without question.

It was his era.

He had the mighty USA behind him.

His wisdom was unquestionable. But when he was not satisfied with what he had and wanted to seize the entire state, the pot boiled over.

On July 15, a dramatic showdown took place between the partners.

He lost.

Fethullah Gülen was a CIA project.

He was carrying out the USA's fifth-column activities not only in Turkey but also across the geography of Eurasia and Africa.

The schools he opened were actually CIA operation centers.

The children of prominent politicians, bureaucrats, and businessmen in the countries where they were located were educated and recruited in these schools.

In other words, they were being put through the CIA's training.

They were also undermining the government in Russia.

Now they are cursing him behind his back, but at that time, Tayyip had even asked Putin for a favor not to close these schools.

Moreover, the Russians had told Turkey many times at the highest level that these people were working for the CIA.

Putin was aware of the danger.

By 2007, this was exactly why Ankara-Moscow relations had begun to show signs of crisis.

However, what was important for the AKP was the general elections on July 22.

They were bargaining with Fethullah Gülen.

The support of the community was important. They did not want to risk the election.

But Fethullah Gülen had an important condition.

Tayyip had to call Putin and prevent these schools from being closed. They were already on good terms. Only then could Fethullah Gülen mobilize all his resources and work for the AKP to win.

It was known to everyone that the CIA was the one who brought the condition.

Moreover, this was reflected in reports sent from Washington to Ankara.

There was nothing secret about it.

Tayyip said, "Okay, it will be done."

He called Putin on June 13, just before the Black Sea Economic Cooperation summit. He asked for a favor, saying, "We expect you to be more flexible regarding the Turkish-Russian schools operating in your country, which have an important function between the two countries, not to close these schools, and to remove the obstacles in front of their activities."

But Putin did not care at all.

Although the Gülen community did not get the result it wanted, it did not withhold its support from the AKP.

The political Islamist government achieved one of its greatest successes in history.

The strategic game-makers in Washington stood behind Tayyip throughout his tenure.

But they cared more about Fethullah Gülen.

They were both using him to steer Tayyip and keeping the AKP in check by creating the perception that it was constantly in need of his support.

For example, the CIA was behind Davutoğlu's obsession with opening embassies in African countries. In countries where the US had its eyes set, first a community school was put into operation, and then Turkey opened an embassy in these countries.

The fresh diplomats, most of whom had passed through Fethullah Gülen's lathe, were protecting and looking after the interests of the community, that is, the USA, not Turkey, in these countries.

This continued until 2016. You already know what happened after that.

In short, the CIA's "snotty preacher" could not escape the fact that human beings have a 100 percent mortality rate.

While Fethullah Gülen was dynamiting the foundations of the republic with the US project of making Turkey a moderate Islamic country, he unfortunately received the support of the fake leftists, warm-brained liberals, Atlanticists, EU-funded activists, and enemies of Atatürk within the country. Even today, they show such great shamelessness that they do not repent and instead claim that what they did at the time was right!

Let us end our article by saying that the seeds sown by Fethullah Gülen continue to poison the country.
