The court decided to wait for the outcome of the 'objection to lack of jurisdiction' and adjourned the hearing to September 8.

This means that we will continue to talk about and discuss this issue throughout the coming summer months.

All eyes will once again be on the CHP.

For the government, the goal seems to have been achieved for now!

It did not use its "absolute nullity" trump card all at once. As far as we understand, it will continue to hold it, and hold it firmly. Considering that the government has been writing the book on political engineering since 2002, there is actually not much for the CHP to rejoice about.

Let us give credit where it is due: Tayyip Erdoğan is very skilled at draining the CHP's energy.

No one should doubt that he will play this card whenever and however he wants, that he will corner Özgür Özel, that he will open the CHP up to debate again and again, or that he will seek some kind of bargaining ground.

The next hearing will likely be held in October or November. Days, weeks, and months will follow one another! This will continue until the constitutional issue is finalized; as long as he can find the number of deputies in Parliament to ensure Tayyip Erdoğan sits in that seat for life, satisfy the Kurds, and ensure the CHP does not try to put up strong opposition or throw a wrench in the government's plans.

Perhaps his real concern is to gain the CHP's support through the blackmail he is conducting via this lawsuit. Because he fears that such a constitutional amendment, which the CHP and its base do not consent to, will blow up in his face.

Persuading the CHP is of critical importance for Tayyip Erdoğan. Simply getting Özgür Özel on board is not enough.

The masses sympathetic to the CHP must also be kept under control. But he is aware that this is not easy.

We know that he has carefully noted that after March 19, it was not the CHP that directed the people on the streets, but the people on the streets who directed the CHP, and that Özgür Özel rode this wave to challenge the government.
