The 'Kurdish genie' is out of the bottle

I am not saying it; Cengiz Çandar has spilled the beans.

He didn't stop there; he brandished a veiled threat by saying, "If the process does not reach a successful conclusion, very great risks await Turkey."

One shouldn't be surprised; this is their "normal"; politics through the language of threats. The message is: We will unleash the PKK upon you...

Of course, there is no need to ask which process.

The constitutional amendment to be made with the support of the DEM Party so that Tayyip Erdoğan can remain in that seat until his time is up, which is ultimately a process of making the Kurdish nationalists co-owners of the country's title deed!

Let us underline this sentence of his and take note. If one day someone comes out and says, "Tayyip Erdoğan did not negotiate with the DEM Party" or something similar, we will put this in front of them!

"The will that governs Turkey sees it as beneficial for itself for this to reach a conclusion. This is not because it loves the Kurds or is fond of them; it has certain political calculations, and for its existence to continue, this business must continue in some way, and it is looking for the way to do this."

What more can the man say!

However, what is happening does not only concern us.

Iraqi Kurds are also trying to get involved in the matter from the sidelines. Their appetites must have been whetted, as they do not want to leave the entire cake to Abdullah Öcalan.

They serve imperialism unconditionally, but there is no spring breeze between them. They are looking for opportunities to gouge each other's eyes out. The Barzani faction, thinking "just in case," does not want to leave the field empty.

For that reason, they are trying to strengthen their political, strategic, and even psychological positions by inviting figures from Turkey who are sympathetic to the issue to northern Iraq on various occasions.

For instance, the Arab World Social Democrats Alliance Congress was recently held in Sulaymaniyah.

In Erbil, the Rudaw Research Center, the 'think tank' of the Rudaw Media group owned by the Barzani family, organized a workshop titled "Turkey's Difficult Peace: Disarmament of the PKK and Political Turning Points in an Unstable Geopolitical Situation."

Led by Cengiz Çandar and Tuncer Bakırhan, the deputies in Parliament's Abdullah Öcalan Commission packed their bags and went to Erbil and Sulaymaniyah to attend the events.

Namık Tan and Oğuz Kaan Salıcı from the CHP, Bülent Kaya from the Felicity Party...

Salih Muslim, one of the leaders of the PKK's Syrian wing, was also there.

However, their contacts and statements did not receive much prominence in Turkey. While it should have been seriously sat down and discussed, most of it was swept under the rug.

Because the people of my country were busy with the government's operation to dump the agenda onto the CHP, they could not find the opportunity to be interested in what was happening in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah.

Come, let us put on our reading glasses now.

For example, Cengiz Çandar said in an interview:

"We are dancing on ice; the process is fragile, but there is no turning back. Turkish society is much more ready than it was in 1993."

Our Kurdish colleague may not have wondered, but let us ask: What is "Turkish society" ready for?

For the division and fragmentation of the country, or for the blood-stained terrorist organization to become legitimate, acceptable, and reputable?

Then he brought the commission in Parliament to the agenda:

"The main duty of this commission is to create the legal and judicial infrastructure for the laying down of arms that took place in the Casene Cave. That is, to ensure the return of thousands of PKK members who need to return to Turkey, to ensure the release of those in prisons on charges of organizational crimes, and to ensure the return of those in exile. To ensure the formation of a brand new climate in Turkey for the resolution of the Kurdish issue and to do this within a few months."

He said these words word for word.

So, we learned from Cengiz Çandar's own mouth that the matter is not as Özgür Özel has been trying to push on us.

Of course, in addition to these, he requested that Abdullah Öcalan be granted the right to hope; he also requested constitutional amendments, regulations for education in the mother tongue, and the redefinition of citizenship.

Oğuz Kağan Salıcı did not fall short of Cengiz Çandar either.

At the workshop in Erbil, he said, "The Middle East is also changing. Just as Erbil is changing, the Middle East is changing. The whole world is changing. Therefore, Turkey needs to be able to keep up with the changes in the Middle East and the change in the world."

Then he recalled the resolution process between 2013-2015, stating that the CHP did not oppose the process, that it extended credit to the process, and that Kılıçdaroğlu said, "Even if I knew it would cost me my political career, we are extending credit to this process"; he did not stop there and expressed that the Kurdish issue is now a state policy.

He explained this with the words, "A state policy thinks that the issue must be resolved even if it exceeds the lifespan of a government."

The translation is this:

"If you abandon the political Islamists, I am ready to serve on the Kurdish issue."

Whether this message is taken into account across the Atlantic, or to what extent it is taken into account, is hard to say.

While we are on the subject, let us not pass without drawing attention to the contacts of Namık Tan, who also served as Ambassador to Washington.

He did not speak as he pleased like the others; he weighed his sentences with a jeweler's scale. After meeting with Talabani's son Bafıl in Sulaymaniyah, he only made a vague statement on his social media account.

He emphasized that lasting peace in the region could only be possible not through states, but through the integration of nations and peoples, and also stated that they discussed the importance of cooperation because secular and democratic values could contribute to the solution of problems in the Middle East.

Since he is a diplomat, he did not neglect to send a subtle message to the Kurdish nationalists by saying "nations" and "peoples." But let us underline that even taking a photo with the leading members of the Talabani family has a "meaning."

To sum it all up; unfortunately, the Greater Middle East Project (BOP) is working like clockwork.

In imperialism's plan to reshape the Middle East, there are not only political Islamists and Kurdish nationalists, but also the CHP.

The commission in Parliament has a meaning and a duty far beyond what is visible.

This commission will not only provide legitimacy to the blood-stained terrorist organization, but will also create the political and legal infrastructure for the new era. Through the CHP, it will dampen the reaction of the people of my country and build consent. While Özgür Özel is struggling with the trustee issues, it will handle the matter as easily as pulling a hair from butter.

Unfortunately, imperialism is doing its best to have the CHP destroy the republic that the CHP founded, and with that, we end our article.
