Dancing on the grave

It emerged with the rise of social media: people are dancing on the grave.

The behavior of dancing on the graves of enemies, critics, or those who have oppressed them—essentially trying to disturb their memory and their loved ones—has increased.

Perhaps it was always there, but now it has become more visible.

What is the reason for this?

People are "calling for justice" in their own way. They speak ill of the deceased so that their actions—or more accurately, the suffering they caused—are not forgotten, and so that those who loved them are hurt and made to know that they, too, are guilty.

So, why this path?

In essence, this lament, this outcry, this curse stems from the fear that justice will not be served.

It is meaningless for a believer with a firm faith in the afterlife to resort to this. Yet, we see even those who are supposedly devout turning to this path. They present someone's death as if it were a "blessed" act of God, as if any of God's acts were unblessed.

The real reason for cursing the dead is, in fact, the anger felt over the failure of justice in this world.

When justice collapses, everything collapses. Goodness, bravery, truth... In the end, the practice of "wishing mercy" upon the dead disappears, and even a dignified silence becomes too much for people to bear.

Cursing the deceased is the easiest way to not remain indifferent to the injustice in this world.

The dead are not harmed by cursing. But as long as people find solace in this, I fear that the establishment of justice in the world will be delayed.

Hoping for the establishment of a justice where we hold people accountable for their actions rather than the people themselves, and where we prevent negative actions...
