For the first time since 1980, CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has reminded us of the discourse and belief in development and a planned Turkey, which had been forgotten for years.
The concept of development has not been used in our country for 46 years. Instead, we have been subjected to the "growth that impoverishes," which is the main ideology of the free-market economy and a constant refrain of the IMF and the World Bank.
The logic of this growth is built upon borrowing, consumption, and the shrinking of the state (the social state). Its essence is a form of impoverishment that consumes without producing, creates injustice in income distribution, and shifts the country's financial burden onto the workers. Neoliberalism has thrived on war, tears, crisis, and poverty in the countries it has entered. The free-market economy imposed on our country in the name of liberalization has brought nothing but crisis and terror.
After 46 years, CHP leader Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has, for the first time, put forward a vision for a Turkey that is focused on development, is planned and productive, and shares what it produces fairly and equitably among its people.
Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has proposed a new roadmap, fully aware that the economy lies at the root of all of a country's economic problems (both in its rise and its collapse).
Economic development, economic nationalism, and welfare nationalism; he has put forward the idea that all of our country's production, as well as its underground and surface resources, should first be shared with our own citizens, with the awareness that everything must be for the Turkish people and our homeland first. The name of this approach is the new "Turkish School of Economics." The goal is to see the rebuilding of a country that competes and leads in education, production, agriculture, industry, science, and technology as a debt of honor and integrity. He wants to bring about a new age of enlightenment and modernization in the second century of the Republic. He wants to build the entire economic model on the ideal of a developing, strong, and great Turkey. He wants to rebuild the Anatolia that is currently in twilight with agricultural cities, industrial cities, and science cities.
He wants every citizen to experience the longing for a Republic of Turkey that strengthens the unitary state on a triple structure of strong central governments, strong local governments, and a strong private enterprise approach.
He says that we will rebuild the future of our country, starting from today, in a way that will serve as an example to all oppressed nations, in the spirit of the Kuvâ-yı Milliye (National Forces), following the path of Atatürk, and building a fully independent, strong, and great Republic of Turkey with the belief of "Peace at home, peace in the world.".
