Either a life without inflation or repression and security policies

Inflation is an obstacle to democracy and to the income distribution, justice, law, and contemporary life that are necessary for all people. Its partner is the political power. The political power settles scores with the public through inflation, holding them accountable in ways it cannot through the law. Wanting inflation is the greatest violation of human rights and democracy. There is no peace or brotherhood in a country where there is inflation. Inflation is the only asset of a broken system. 

Instead of governing our country according to contemporary norms, the political power imposes a diseased structure on the public. In fact, by dragging both the government and society into failure, inflation prepares a cover and justification for the political power's own failures. This persistent and creeping inflation in our country, with its aspect of constantly devaluing the national currency and embedding the expectation of a continuous rise in exchange rates into the public consciousness, also acts as an anesthetic on the collective memory. Instead of focusing on what is being done for the benefit of society and the country, or what is being stolen from the country's future, the discourse of "what will prices be today," "will the exchange rate rise," and "will interest rates go up or down" is implanted in the public mind. By imposing this triple disease on society, the political power prepares the ground for both coercive security policies and the implementation of anti-democratic laws. When the high rate from the previous period decreases, the government announces that inflation has been brought under control. This is like giving painkillers and antibiotics to a cancerous region. The most important element to pay attention to here is not the magnitude of the inflation rate, but the ending of inflation expectations.

For the government to elevate our country to a contemporary social order, it must first prepare a national Development Program. For a life without inflation, national economic goals and priorities must be explained correctly, national resources must be evaluated in accordance with reality, and our country's true potential must be explained and presented accurately. A life without inflation cannot be achieved through IMF programs and Neo-Liberal policies. 

It must be demonstrated how the level of satisfaction will change in the event of full utilization of public consumption, private consumption, and existing resources and potentials.  Furthermore, inflation may then emerge as a symptom of major errors to be made in the logic and implementation of events. In this case, it is also a fact that the continuation of such errors will trigger and diminish the achievement of social and economic goals. In our country, the political power is not fighting the real causes of inflation. Because it does not, economic and social conditions are worsening further. In the final analysis, our people pay the price for this deterioration. Inflation impoverishes the public and makes the rich richer. Our people can no longer withstand the blows of this sticky inflation that has been experienced in our country for a long time. The effects of this creeping inflation within the country and its political consequences can sometimes bring international friction along with them. There is no good economy in a poorly governed country. Instead of solving fundamental problems, the government tries to manage the country with daily, momentary street jargon. To solve the country's problems, it must prepare a social and economic program, first believing in it itself, and then convincing the public. Otherwise, it cannot govern our country with repressive security policies.
