Poverty is not our destiny, nor is wealth theirs

While the majority of our country—farmers, wage earners, and retirees, in other words, the people—are becoming excessively impoverished, a minority is becoming excessively wealthy.

The political power, however, views this extreme impoverishment and enrichment as divine providence and attempts to validate this understanding through all its economic and political practices. In other words, the government is saying this: The poor are poor because they do not work or work too little, and the rich are rich because they work hard. The equivalent of this understanding in economic literature is 'NAS' (religious decree).

The poor, farmers, wage earners, and retirees of our country have been transferring wealth to the capital group for a long time. As they transfer wealth, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Knowing that this situation keeps it in power for many years, the government is trying with all its might to create a country of poor people who are dependent on it. Indeed, it has been very successful; we are now a country of the poor.

Society has been complaining about poverty and destitution for a long time, yet when we look at the government's votes, it receives more votes than the wealthy minority. Without solving this sociological trauma, no other party can emerge as the government from here. My reasoning is this: If they think that by defending the conservative and neo-liberal policies advocated by the government, the public will vote for them, the public will not vote for you for two reasons. These conservative and neo-liberal policies have brought war, blood, tears, and poverty. The second reason is that while the government, the true owner of these policies, defends them with all its heart, the public will not vote for the fakes.

The government says, 'I am a party of capital; I take from the poor and destitute and give to the rich,' and it proves this situation with its practices. 

As for other parties, if they say in recent times that 'we can implement neo-liberal policies better,' this means we will be the party of capital, not the people. Why would they vote for you when the main party of capital already exists?

The way to get them to vote for you is the day you say, 'We will build a producing Turkey instead of a consuming one, we will ensure fair and public distribution, we are the party of the oppressed poor, workers, farmers, retirees, and wage earners,' and the day you openly present this with economic and labor programs and fight for it, the path to power will open. The day you say, like Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK, 're-planning, re-investment, re-agriculture, re-industrialization, re-moderate statism, re-publicism,' the path to power will open. The day you say 'food, jobs, and fair distribution for everyone,' the path to becoming the government will open.

You will become the government the day factory chimneys start smoking in every province and district of Anatolia. You will become the government if you do not hand over the rights of our people, the poor and the destitute, to invaders and asylum seekers.

If you want true salvation in our country again, the path is clear and singular. This path is the path and revolutions of Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK.
