Taxes and price hikes are now being grown on our lands...

In reality, there can be no taxation without representation, and no price hikes without representation. This means that the government cannot impose taxes and price hikes at its own discretion. Both taxes and price hikes can only occur with the approval of the parliament elected by the people.

However, the parliament has no authority whatsoever regarding taxes or price hikes. This power of taxation and the power to impose price hikes must be taken out of the government's hands. Our people are being crushed under heavy taxes.

The parliament that should be looking out for the people is effectively non-existent. For this reason, the government is exercising the power of "no taxation without representation" through a structure reminiscent of an absolute monarchy.

According to Article 73 of our Constitution, taxes are imposed, amended, or abolished by law.

The provision stating that the President may be authorized to make changes within the limits of the burden and lower bounds determined by law regarding exemptions, exceptions, and reductions in taxes, duties, fees, and similar obligations is included. This provision is contrary to the principle of "no taxation without representation." From this perspective, the President has become the proxy of the parliament.

For a long time, the political power has been spending without being taxed by failing to collect the taxes that should be collected from capital. It covers this by borrowing and printing money.

Our people bear the burden of this debt; on one hand, current generations, and on the other, future generations are being placed under a great burden, becoming impoverished and suffering a loss of welfare.

Taking excessive taxes from the people is, on one hand, an injustice, and on the other, theft. The government's imposition of unlimited taxes on the people in this way is, in another sense, banditry. They are crushing the people so that the wealthy and they themselves can live in luxury; sometimes, the imposition of excessive and high taxes or their abuse makes the people's rebellion legitimate.

In our country, science is no longer being cultivated, civilization is not being cultivated, law and justice are not being cultivated, agricultural products are not being cultivated, industry is not being cultivated, farmers are not being cultivated; everyone in our country is silently waiting for a savior. It should not be forgotten that freedom and democracy exist only as much as you fight for them.

No taxes should be imposed and no price hikes should be made without the approval of the citizens and the parliament. By parliament here, I mean a parliament that defends the budget rights of every citizen.
