After civil servants, waiters are the largest workforce in our country

We couldn't manage this either.

Businesses that increased the service charge, which started at 10 percent, to 20 percent ended up losing what they already had while chasing more.

When complaints about service charges increased, the government found the solution in abolishing them.

Service charges will no longer be collected, and anyone who wants to can leave as much tip as they wish.

This didn't work either.

Customers who already felt ripped off had been handed a trump card.

Customers complaining about high prices pay the bill after asking for it, but when it comes to tipping, they play dumb and no longer leave any tips.

The livelihood of waiters is their salary and tips.

In this situation, there has been a serious decrease in the income of waiters who cannot receive tips.

Some businesses either added extra price hikes to their products and distributed this to the waiters, or the boss took responsibility and paid the tips out of their own pocket.

But how long could this last?

A permanent solution must be found for this issue.

The only solution is to add a 10 percent tip to the bills and distribute this 10 percent to the waiters tax-free.

There are 5 million 300 thousand civil servants in our country.

So, who has the largest population after civil servants? Waiters.

The number of waiters in our country is over 2 million.

The most sought-after profession is waitering.

Currently, there is a need for over 300 thousand waiters.

Summer vacation is also coming.

The shortage of waiters will increase even more.

In our country, after waiters, the sector with the most employees is the construction sector, with 1 million 800 thousand.

It is followed by the textile sector with 1 million 300 thousand.

There are also 600 thousand people working in the automotive sector.

As you can see, the country's labor locomotive is in the hands of waiters.

It is not a subject that the government can just pass over.

It is high time for the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to address this issue in detail and solve it.

The tourism season starts in 1 month.

In big cities, there is a flood of waiter resignations.

The problem is big, but the solution is just as easy.
