I do not send a single cent to any aid organization

To this day, I have not sent a single cent to any aid organization. 

And I will not send any from now on either. 

I am one of those who believe in the state's power when it comes to aid during major disasters. 

I do not believe that anything done individually will be well-intentioned.

This country has seen before how such aid organizations operate and how they play with our people's emotions to defraud them. 

Wealthy families and large companies are already acting in coordination with the state on this matter.

The public, however, sends their meager savings to aid organizations. 

When support also comes from abroad, the money collected reaches significant figures. It becomes difficult to control. 

But sooner or later, associations that collect money in this way show deficits. 

When the work done by these associations remains very small compared to the aid provided, questions begin to arise.

And when the collected aid money is large, they are held accountable. 

I am one of those who do their own charity.

I identify the person in need myself and provide my aid.

This both gives me happiness and allows me to know who my kindness touches.

I even slaughter my own sacrificial animal every year. 

I do not send sacrifice money to anyone, any aid organization, or any association. 

If you are going to slaughter a sacrifice, please take the trouble to perform the rituals of that task yourself. 

Every Eid al-Adha, I perform the morning Eid prayer. 

I leave the mosque and go to the place where I slaughter my sacrifice every year. 

I slaughter the animal I reserved days in advance and personally distribute it to the homes of those in need with my own hands. 

Then, I have my breakfast with the happiness brought by my inner peace. 

Now I see that people have become so lazy that they want to do everything from where they sit. 

Having money does not mean you are doing charity correctly.

What this country has experienced before and what is being experienced now shows that this is not the right path.

Take care of your money. 

When you provide aid, please take the trouble to set aside time and follow up on where that aid goes.
