A moral of the story: it was almost getting used to it

Actually, I do not directly delve into political topics. If there is an indirect connection to technical issues, I touch upon them lightly and exit without offending anyone.

But I would burst if I did not write something about the most talked-about election of recent years.

There is no one among us who does not know Nasreddin Hodja's 'donkey feeding' story.

He was reducing the barley ration of his companion, Karakaçan, by a little bit every day in front of the public. The people were constantly warning the Hodja, saying, "Hodja, don't do it, it's a pity for the poor animal, look, something will happen to this donkey in the end."

The Hodja ignored the sensitivity of the people and continued to reduce Karakaçan's barley day by day.

Then, one day, Karakaçan passed away.

When the people said to the Hodja, "What have you done, Hodja? Look, you see, poor Karakaçan died," the Hodja replied, “He died, yes, but he was almost getting used to it.”

The events we have experienced in recent years are so similar to the Hodja's story.

Despite issues such as the long-declining purchasing power, extreme inflation, the problem of the country's orbit on the world stage, the dire state of retirees, the situation of universities, the Karabük issue, hopelessness and the future anxiety of the youth, the equalization of everyone in poverty, high interest rates, the meritocracy problem, cronyism, and the rapid erosion of savings, the ruling power managed to emerge victorious from the recent elections.

It almost thought it would emerge victorious from the last election as well, 

However, its end turned out to be like Karakaçan's.
