An announcement to my students

My dear students.

There are quite a lot of you.

So far, I have taught and graduated more than seven thousand students.

There is no problem for those we have graduated.

They know me.

They have witnessed that our diplomas were earned through and through.

They know well my late steel structures professor, Şenay Saydaş, who showed no mercy when I was about to finish the civil engineering department in 4 years, and did not add the 2 points to the 40 I received in the final exam so that I could graduate.

Since the steel structures course was not offered in summer school and there was no make-up exam, I had to study for another semester, meaning 7 more months, and received my diploma later than my classmates.

Afterward, following the trauma I experienced after my first failed associate professorship exam, my students also went through a tough process.

They witnessed the departure of the old, soft, affectionate Professor Gökhan, and the arrival of someone who was barely recognizable, a bipolar, half-witted person.

They also witnessed that I emerged in one piece, albeit heavily damaged, from the clash with FETÖ members during the professorship appointment process.

There are other stories as well.

We will write about them when the time comes.

Let us come to the main point.

Let me make an announcement to the students who will take my courses this semester so they know who they are dancing with.

Looking at the news around them, they should not have any doubts about our diplomas.

They should not seek adventure.

They should know that this country still has sane professors with real diplomas.

They should ask our former students.

They can find them through my social media.

Regret at the end is of no use.

Let them not say they were not warned.
