CEHAPE continues to recover despite all the “external” forces. And it looks like it will continue to do so.
Even though the scandals involving İSKİ, Ergun Göknel, Feray Kavrar, and Nurettin Sözen have not been forgotten, there is now a belief in the honesty, sincerity, integrity, conscience, and morality of the new mayors. Especially in the mayors of Istanbul and Ankara, who have acted as catalysts.
Two successful municipalities—though the Istanbul staff seems to need a bit more public experience compared to Ankara—have shaken the ruling power. And they are not giving it a chance to recover.
The ruling power's excessive focus on the left flank of its opponent and the concentration of all its fortifications on that front have weakened its right wing. The mechanized units the ruling power shifted to the left prevented its right side from mobilizing.
Just like the realization that the units on the Archers' Hill abandoned their post early to get a share of the spoils, within CEHAPE, the Unionist tradition and Kuvayi Milliye elements who realized this have disqualified the post-modern Jacobin CEHAPE elites—those bow-tie-wearing, brain-replaced-by-paunch, non-thinking (or rather, incapable of thinking, as saying 'non-thinking' implies they could think if they wanted to), non-working (or rather, incapable of working, as saying 'non-working' implies they could work if they wanted to), living off the fat of the land, post-World War II social and political dynamics, and idle
—and charged at the right side of the ruling power, inflicting heavy damage and tearing off a large piece. Much like the saying that those who do not sweat in training bleed in war, the opposition's self-assured demeanor, condescending gaze, relaxed attitude, playing the master, attempts to act clever without having the experience, and the air of having outsourced the work to subcontractors have fueled the fire of defeat.
The nationalist elements, who show no mercy to the opposition's lack of fortification and arrogance and strike whenever they can, have set their sights on the funders of 'foreign' powers to deliver the final blow.
They are aware that the rest will be as easy as taking a hair out of butter.
In particular, the sudden removal of the rector appointed to Anadolu University just one month ago by the depths of the state shows that the government has become tired and weak even in its struggle with the wounded Pennsylvania, making it seem unlikely that it will be able to defeat the well-fed municipalities.
