Decay and Corruption: Village Supply Universities

Don't leave your news choices to an algorithm - decide for yourself what you read. Add 12punto to your preferred sources!

From here, as much as we can and as far as our minds allow, we write our ideas to our authorized elders.

Because their agendas are busy, we cannot really go to see them.

Even if we do go, we cannot really explain our troubles in the time it takes to drink a warm tea.

Let me write down the greatest danger awaiting us here, so that perhaps someone who reads or hears it will take notice.

Decay and Corruption are the greatest dangers facing us.

Ever since we took America as a model, we have begun to ignore the principles of the social state.

I spent 5 of my 50 years of life in America.

It is a country where class mobility is not very possible.

In other words, it is a land of opportunity where it is rarely seen that the child of a doorman becomes a judge, a physician, or an academic.

The philosophy of "you are a worker, stay a worker" is widespread.

For Black people, who make up about 15 percent of the population, the situation is even more dire.

The prisons are full of Black people.

Almost all of those executed are Black.

Likewise, the Spaniards, whom they call Puerto Ricans, are not in a good situation either.

Most of them have also been pushed into crime.

The state does not implement a program to integrate them.

It manages with a "let it be, God will provide" model.

It handcuffs them or hangs them.

The children of these segments, who cannot integrate into the system, also decay and corrupt their surroundings.

Just like a rotten tomato in a crate corrupts the entire crate.

Europe, which we previously took as a role model, is much more successful in terms of integration because it has produced more serious policies regarding the social state.

There is no one who does not read or who does not have a profession.

You rarely come across idlers wandering the streets.

The state watches over and protects its low-income citizens so that decay does not occur, or so that any existing decay is treated and does not spread to society and exacerbate problems.

Poor Turkey used to be very sensitive and successful in this regard.

It didn't have many vagrants.

Nowadays, the deteriorating income inequality has begun to pose a threat in terms of decay and corruption.

Around me, there are generally children who study in good or private schools.

They participate in international camps. They are at summer houses in the summer.

They use computers and artificial intelligence glasses, and they learn foreign languages.

They are fed so well that they are almost obese.

They gobble up a kilo of roasted meat in one sitting.

Their clothes are neat.

But they are at risk of being corrupted.

If we do not educate the children with low income levels, who make up a large part of society, just like these children, our robust children will also be corrupted.

So what should be done?

Village Supply Universities should be established.

Rich and poor children should mingle on this campus during certain periods of the year.

They should eat and drink together.

Even if not all of them, the children of the poor should also have access to some of the opportunities of the well-fed children.

They should learn a foreign language, use a computer, and eat dried beans with meat, if not pastrami, and they should be tall and healthy.

Before the crate decays, we must start immediately.

Is it difficult? Not at all.

Is money needed?

No.

What is needed?

Intent and public support.

Otherwise, the cost will be much heavier.

A large part of the country will become a dump, just like in America.

We will be forced to employ more police and build more prisons.
