I wrote an article recently.
Titled, "There are no engineers left, let's give them lawyers."
Nobody cared.
It seems Mayor Mansur didn't care either, as he conceded a cheap goal from the simplest of places.
It is clear that Mayor Mansur and other lawyer-leaders do not seem to have a team of highly experienced engineers.
If they have anyone, it is experienced lawyers retired from the courthouses or the Court of Cassation.
Clearly, they intend to dampen the pressure from the government in this way.
What they are missing is that while lawyers have a defensive mental algorithm, engineers possess an offensive structure.
Demirel is a good example of this proposition or hypothesis.
Özal and Erbakan also navigated the Cold War era with minimal damage using their engineering intellect.
If they were to research how Demirel stayed in power, they would find the right path.
Demirel did not leave the Turkey of the sixties, which did not have a drop of oil, at the mercy of others.
Even if there were queues for gas canisters and oil, there was always electricity.
With a single-equation function, he managed to bring Turkey, battered by the Cold War, to port with minimal damage, without crashing into the rocks, by using WATER and the power of WATER.
He collected water behind dams and transferred its potential energy to generators via turbines, converting it into kinetic energy, thereby producing domestic, national, and independent electrical energy.
He overcame the embargo we faced during the Cyprus War and the OPEC oil crisis that occurred as a result of the 1973 Arab-Israeli War with WATER and the power of WATER.
In prehistoric times, too, governments were fortified and reinforced with WATER.
Roman, Persian, Egyptian, and Inca civilizations came to life with WATER.
The Ottomans also discovered water, but they were too late and were dismantled.
Given this, the reason why Ankara is experiencing a water problem is clear and obvious.
Let those who hear tell those who haven't, and those who know tell those who don't.
