Even if Atatürk wanted it now, it wouldn't happen

There is a scientist named Jared Diamond.

A professor.

Those of us who are not literate in these matters may not know him well.

Jared Mason Diamond is an American scientist and author of popular science books. 

He is known for his Pulitzer Prize-winning book, Guns, Germs, and Steel. Although Diamond was trained in physiology, he is also interested in various fields such as anthropology, ecology, geography, and evolutionary biology.

In his work, he explains evolutionary processes.

For many years, I have made his books required reading for my master's degree programs.

I recommend them to everyone.

You will find sufficient answers to the question of “Where did we come from, where are we going?” in Diamond's works.

Through this, we also learn more deeply about the last three hundred years, during which industrial revolutions took place.

The Turks also followed these processes as best they could.

They established empires.

They created civilizations.

Afterward, they experienced difficult days due to mistakes that were made.

They were subjected to migrations and genocide.

While facing the danger of extinction, Atatürk stepped in.

Following years of survival wars, he carried out continuous revolutions to build a modern country.

His revolutions have been debated for a hundred years.

For those of us who were born Atatürkist in sterile environments, there is no problem.

We have believed in the necessity of the revolutions from the very beginning.

Groups debating the revolutions have grown quite strong with funds coming from the Arab geography and intellectual support received from the European region.

When support also came from across the ocean, they even acquired newspapers and television stations.

When money became abundant, they also bought off Atatürkist intellectuals, scientists, and faculty members.

After eating their 'maklube' at the Abant meetings, they counted the dollars they received in envelopes while secretly sipping their whiskey in their rooms.

Fortunately, our geography was caught in the chaos it is currently experiencing at a time when the Pennsylvanians were pushed out of the system.

Otherwise, these Pennsylvanians would have attacked Iran head-on, alongside Israel.

All the details of the process are now understood by everyone.

Even the sharp pens of the Islamists have begun to agree with Atatürk regarding religious sects.

They have reached the point of believing in the righteousness of the revolutions.

A path of no return has now been entered.

Even Atatürk could not turn his nation back from this path.
