Even if the people consent, God Almighty does not

Terror is the bane of all nations.

It is an effective yet equally vile apparatus used especially by rival countries to disrupt social peace and perpetuate a climate of fear.

When civilian planes were locked onto the World Trade Center in New York and other civilian targets on September 11, I was sipping my coffee at the foot of the tower, passing time before dropping off a bid file at the municipal procurement office located on the 82nd floor.

God protected me, and the plane began its terror early, while I had not yet entered the building.

Similar events have occurred in other countries as well.

The bombings carried out by ISIS and the hundreds of civilian casualties.

There is also an atmosphere, not that it doesn't count as a loss when it's a soldier, but that is another matter.

The PKK also particularly stifled our generation.

Every morning, even on holiday mornings, news of outpost raids would be reported.

If there wasn't a loss in every family, there was certainly a martyr in every neighborhood.

The PKK was a very ruthless organization.

It would claim freedom for the Kurds, yet it would kill Kurds.

It would not refrain from committing the most brutal massacres against civilians either.

It specifically murdered teachers and doctors so that the region would remain deprived of services.

It would not distinguish between children, the elderly, or the young, and would not refrain from killing even pregnant women.

Fortunately, the Turkish army dealt with it.

Despite suffering many martyrs, it never gave up and hunted down the bandits one by one.

It even packaged the head of the devil all the way in Kenya and locked him up in İmralı.

The nation breathed a sigh of relief.

Now, it is said he will be released.

He will marry, have children, and continue his fight through his offspring.

Perhaps he couldn't succeed himself, but maybe his descendants will.

Since the citizens' hands are tied, they do not speak out, even if they do not consent.

It seems that God Almighty is not pleased either, as He does not allow the Turkish wrist to be bent by any means.
