Foreign-language song lyrics

The Cold War disrupted the fabric of the world after the 1950s.

Just as this disrupted fabric was on the verge of collapse, the start-ups that American kids built in their garages in the 1990s added color to our lives.

The Spotify app is one of those colors.

We overcame the borders closed by the Cold War with these applications.

A genre of music called Arabesk melted and consumed millions of us.

Due to its lyrics, it constantly caused us to have heart spasms.

Except for a minority who knew a foreign language, the others could not reach contemporary music. 

I keep the place of folk songs separate, but they were not productions that gave hope in terms of lyrics either, except for ones like “her dress looks like a crimson apple, her peach looks like honey,” which, by the way, was played as an anthem at the delivery ceremony of a ship we bought from the British.

Because we didn't have a national anthem. 

The lyrics “The walnut leaf is between the branches, they love the beautiful one between the vineyards, between the vineyards” also contain noteworthy meaning and significance.

The others are compositions constantly built on themes of inferiority, marginalization, or longing. 

Anyway, let me share the lyrics of a French song I listened to on social media yesterday, so I can inform you about the blessings of the free world.
