Funerals of the non-praying and a prayer for their souls

I worked at the university for years.

You know, the place that counter-revolutionaries claim is neither local nor national.

In fact, all institutions and individuals striving to exalt the Turk have been targets of the counter-revolutionaries.

And not just today.

It has been this way since the Seljuks.

The Ottoman Empire also suffered greatly from these bigoted, foreign-rooted, Neanderthal, opportunist, and rootless people.

The infidels in Muslim guise are still active today.

What they have done, especially over the last 50 years to destroy modern Turkey, is known to us all.

Anyway, I won't get into historical processes and digress from the topic.

Let me get straight to the devil's funeral.

During the years I worked at the university, I attended more funeral ceremonies than I can count.

I still attend them.

I view these ceremonies as a final duty.

I believe the deceased can feel those who come to their funeral.

May God grant a long life, but I hope my academic colleagues will attend mine as well.

On the other hand, thanks to WhatsApp groups, we are informed about all the funerals around us.

As much as I can, without regard for distance, I try to respond to the invitations that come via WhatsApp, even if I cannot attend all of them.

Some of these funerals are for friends from the institution where I work, which belongs to the upper class, while others are for friends belonging to associations of fellow countrymen from lower social classes.

In other words, some are professors, and some are construction workers.

Actually, in my view, there is no such thing as class.

I love the people of this country without classifying them.

Some of these funerals depart from famous mosques in the city center, while others depart from village mosques.

Whether rich or poor, religious or secular, our funerals are exactly the same.

Whether it is a professor or a laborer, the imam asks for blessings for the deceased, and a Fatiha is recited for their soul.

Certain verses from the Quran are recited.

People say, 'May God have mercy on them, forgive their shortcomings if they had any, and may their place be in heaven.'

All rituals are performed in both Turkish and Arabic.

This is the same in a village in Sivas, on a mountain in Hakkari, at the Valide Sultan Mosque in Beşiktaş, and at the Bebek Mosque.

It is the same in Malaysia and in Indonesia.

Like a law of physics.

Just like how water boils at 100 degrees in Trabzon, Beşiktaş, Mecca,  and in the Philippines.

The head imam in Pennsylvania reversed this law.

He was buried like a cardinal.

Quite a lot of posts were shared regarding this.

Previously, once they were betrayed by the person they bowed before and called 'Hocaefendi' (master teacher), they started writing articles as if crying out for help.

They said, 'At the funeral ceremony, there was neither English nor Arabic.' 

They didn't even say Allah or God, but used the word 'Lord' like Christians.

They read passages from the Bible.

They did not ask for forgiveness (helallik) before the funeral prayer.

They did not recite the Fatiha.

They did not chant the Takbir.

They said, 'There was not a single thing in the name of Islam at his funeral; he was buried like a cardinal.'

Years ago, in 2008, while drinking tea in an environment with political Islamist professors at the university, when I said, 'This man is not a Muslim; he is an enemy, a child of deportation whose records were altered,' a professor who grabbed me by the throat and shook me, asking, 'How can you slander the Hodjaefendi,' and who later became a major confessor.

Are you also saying that he was buried like a cardinal from Pennsylvania?
