Half From Us, Fikirtepe Style: Don't Miss Out

There is no one left in the world who doesn't know or recognize Fikirtepe. It is even said that there is no other example like it. They say that even in China, the world's most populous country, there is nothing like it.

Narrow streets, tiny boxes that never see the sun, and towers whose tops cannot be seen from the ground. 

At a time when the world is pondering sensitive issues such as urban planning, urbanization, climate, sustainability, and green energy. 

While prosperity, comfort, aging, and healthy longevity are the main topics for developed countries.

In this day and age, when Turkey is a member of organizations established by the civilized world, such as the OECD, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and the G20.

However, if you look at the behavior, it is the exact opposite.

It is as if there is a vow not to do whatever needs to be done regarding the living spaces and urbanization of its people.

You can easily understand what I mean when you look at Fikirtepe.

It has been written and discussed a lot, so I will look at the issue from a different perspective. 

When the disastrous projects and absurd zoning ratios in Fikirtepe emerged, they looked for contractors around who would be partners in this sin to build these constructions in exchange for flats. Sensible contractors stayed away from this region. Not because of a sensitivity to nature or because they love the environment, or because they thought you can't have so many floors in such a small area, of course. But because they were thinking about who they would sell all these residences to.

The greedy and the fools, who could not establish this simple economic algorithm and were also spurred on by FETÖ, dove headfirst into Fikirtepe and violated it. 

And what happened after they did? 

Or who violated whose?

What happened after they took the rights of the poor and the needy?

They took the house of a poor person, which appeared as two stories in the zoning plan, for free, and the next day they increased the number of floors by 50 times. 

Fine, you deceived that poor person, but did you think you could also deceive God Almighty?

Did you think, you fools, that God would leave the poor of Fikirtepe alone, who could not get any added value from land that increased in value a thousand times in a single day?

If you thought so, let me write a few notes here so you can see that He did not.

The owner of the 'Foxes Plateau' firm went bankrupt.

The owner of the 'Sister-in-law' firm went bankrupt.

The owner of the 'Non-believers' firm went bankrupt.

The owner of the 'Mist-rock' firm and their family are fugitives.

While these donkeys were saying that the Fikirtepe urban transformation project is an example to the world, they were accusing those who opposed it of treason and throwing them in front of the public like gladiators thrown to lions, as obstacles to the country's growth.

Their stories are very tragic.

Of course, Fikirtepe will save itself.

It won't be long, in 20 years it will undergo urban transformation again. The disgusting studio apartments will be demolished, and parks and 3-4 story buildings will be built in their place.

And the state will cover half of the cost again.

Only then will the Fikirtepe urban transformation project be an example to the world.
