I asked ChatGPT, do you have a mind?

Don't leave your news choices to an algorithm - decide for yourself what you read. Add 12punto to your preferred sources!

Let me write a short piece for today.

The other evening, on a program on Halk TV, a participant who appeared to be sensible asked ChatGPT about the 'Eastern Question' of the last forty years, and in fact, the last 250 years.

He asked the machine to analyze 'what Atatürk would do' regarding this issue.

He expected it to find a path to follow.

And the machine reportedly gave Atatürk advice that amounted to, "It would be better if you surrendered."

The academic opposite him, of course, delivered a sharp response.

By explaining with examples from the Bandırma Ferry that this country was not founded by asking ChatGPT, he put the seemingly sensible participant in his place.

I have also occasionally sent my articles to ChatGPT for checking, expecting corrections.

Friends who read the corrected text would complain, saying, "Was that your latest article, it sounds so sanitized," or "Did you have your assistant write it?"

ChatGPT completely zeroes out the sense of humor that forms the main idea within a piece of writing, and since it even views humor as a malfunction, it thinks it has done a very good job.

Take my advice: do not listen to machine intelligence instead of your own, and do not embarrass yourself.
