Kara Anbar Truckers Association

Years ago, as soon as I graduated from the civil engineering department, as if it were a law, I had a photocopy of my diploma certified as a true copy and headed to the Chamber of Civil Engineers. 

I don't know what kind of consciousness it was, but I felt compelled to register with the Chamber of Civil Engineers.

Perhaps it was because I saw it as the source of the legitimacy of my engineering, I'm not quite sure, it could be.

I registered.

I paid my dues.

Years passed.

We worked in various institutions.

During this time, since no one called or asked about me, I lost contact with the chamber.

When there was no contact, there wasn't much discipline regarding dues either.

When I saw friends playing cards during the few times I stopped by to pay my dues, I never went back.

That was until I opened the registered letter I received 5-10 years ago and acknowledged the enforcement notice I encountered.

According to the letter, I was going to be sent to enforcement because I hadn't paid my dues.

Our esteemed chamber, which hadn't called or asked about me for 25 years, and hadn't even sent a New Year's greeting card, even a digital one, had somehow found my address and sent me an enforcement letter.

One must congratulate them.

They found my notification address.

That counts as a skill, too.

When I received the enforcement letter, the Kara Anbar Truckers Association came to mind.

Even the Kara Anbar Truckers Association is organized to protect both the social and legal rights of its members.

It even tracks the protein and amino acid balance of its members and implements a nutrition program.

Those who are not members of the association cannot even eat dried beans at the association's cafeteria.

If you are a member, they offer a serving of dried beans, rice, and cacık almost for free.

Nowadays, the Chamber of Civil Engineers no longer threatens us with enforcement.

If you have a debt, they send a polite message, that's all.

They say, let's come up with a payment plan.

In their other messages, they provide information about the useful work the chamber does for its members.

AutoCAD courses, in-service training programs, legal support, discounted businesses, contracted institutions.

Many more conveniences, applications that will be useful to its members in practical life. 

It seems that the new administrations are carrying out work to return to their primary duties and to strengthen the technical equipment of their members. 

On this occasion, I congratulate the Eskişehir Chamber of Civil Engineers President, Civil Engineer Orkun Kılıç, and his administration, whose messages I have received, and wish them to do even more useful work.
