There is no one among us who does not know Besim Tibuk, the former chairman of the Liberal Party.
He is a very charismatic businessman and politician.
He reached millions with the ideas he put forward in the 90s using a theatrical, slapstick style.
It is said that not only did he not pay a single penny for political advertising, but he actually made money from it thanks to this talent.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Political Sciences (Mülkiye).
His life, which began in the Fındıklı district of Rize, where the Mohtis live, continues in Cyprus with him living in the lap of luxury, thanks to his alertness and sharp intellect.
May God grant him a long life.
For years, he spoke to us about the sanctity and greatness of the liberal system, but simple-minded people like me could not understand it.
And he did so accompanied by references from holy books.
Well, those who do not have their ears tuned to the call to prayer do not have their eyes on the prayer, of course.
He said he would dismantle the state and send its civil servants to Rhodes as galley slaves.
He injected a model of selling everything off to get rich.
He spoke of the invisible but skillful hand of the market.
He dazzled us by giving plenty of examples of America's wealth.
He said he would sell state universities to whoever paid the money.
He stated that he would liberate citizens, without regard for public property.
He promised a full American system.
He said we would get rid of unions and switch to a model where every sheep is hung by its own leg.
He said, "let the one who falls behind suffer."
He said we would continue on our way with the strong.
He glorified America.
However, he did not find much of a response from the public.
Recently, a video of his appeared before me.
I could not believe what I heard.
He was swearing profusely.
He was reciting unspeakable profanities like poetry, right on cue, against America regarding the Ukraine issue.
I was left speechless.
We are expecting a video soon from many of our clever Mohti former politicians and businessmen about the importance of the worker, labor, equality, cooperation, and self-sacrifice.
God is always with those who find the right path, even if it is late, even if it is difficult.
Happy May 1st, the day of the worker and the laborer.
Here is to many more holidays in the light of a social, democratic, and sufficiently liberal state that supports those who remain standing and gives a hand to those who fall.
