No matter how smart humans think they are, they resemble animals in many of their characteristics.
Elephants are among the animals that resemble humans in their social structure. Their family bonds are strong. They are affectionate. They are programmed to nurture, not to kill.
Furthermore, it is said that when their teeth fall out and they realize they are going to die, they withdraw from the scene and go near their burial grounds.
For some time now, the plight of pensioners has been brought to the agenda in the print media and on social media. It is being written and drawn that they are in a difficult situation.
It is explained through mathematical models that they are not receiving the return on the premiums they paid for years.
They say that those who have not even paid a thousand days of premiums in their entire lives and those who have paid more than ten thousand days are forced to settle for almost the same miserable pension due to pragmatic amnesties during election periods.
Since they cannot receive adequate healthcare because hospitals are packed to the brim, they think that it would have been much better if they had bought a house instead of paying retirement premiums.
Even if all of this is true, this is what the pensioner needs to know.
They are dying now.
They do not have much of a lifespan left.
They have no economic value.
They are now recording a Loss, not a Profit.
It is not desired for them to be seen around much, to the point that if it weren't for the free transportation services of municipalities, they wouldn't even be able to go downtown.
So that they don't come to the hospital so often and create congestion, the duration of prescription medication is being extended.
In short, they shouldn't bother in vain; they cannot make their voices heard.
Like elephants, they will slowly withdraw to their corners, meet their food needs with municipal support, and quietly kick the bucket.
They shouldn't expect any raises or anything. They should just be grateful they are breathing.
