Turkey has entered a deep crisis.

It is not very possible for it to emerge from this, either.

It has broken away from the chain of civilized countries and has turned into a country-like entity without a system.

There is a lot of economic data that confirms what I am saying, but I will write here the simplest and most visible one.

I am not going to write about worldly goods like houses or cars.

It is about reproduction.

Just as marriage rates are falling, those who do get married cannot have children.

They are afraid.

Those who do have only one.

And that is only due to parental pressure.

Since the idea of having children out of wedlock still strains minds, Turkey's population will not increase in the coming years and will even decrease.

Perhaps it will decrease at a dramatic rate.

The reproductive hormones of young people, driven into despair by economic conditions, have fallen to the lowest level of the last century.

Anxiety about the future has reached such a peak that no one wants to spoil anyone else's joy.

Children have become so preoccupied with calculating how to sustain their lives with the inheritance left by their fathers that they do not want to get married and share.

You may not see a problem here so far.

You might say, "Who gets married, who has children, what is it to us?"

And you would be right.

However, what will happen to the schools built with the taxes we have paid for years?

Will the economic equivalent of empty classrooms not become a new factor of poverty?

What will happen to the dams, roads, and bridges?

Did we pay all those taxes for nothing?

Did we live at the poverty level for years for nothing?

If we were going to shrink, why did we make so many infrastructure investments?

If our end was going to be like Rome, why did we wear ourselves out?

We should have just eaten, drank, and traveled, and seen a happy day before meeting our maker.
