The decay of the era's contractors

I have been conducting research projects in academia for years.

I mostly do theoretical work, but sometimes I also carry out practical studies.

I try to process empirical data and turn it into numerical form. 

To make it easier to understand.

For a long time, I have been conducting a study on the theme of how contractors grow and why they go bankrupt.

We initially wanted to do this study, which has counterparts abroad, by examining financial data.

However, since the imbalance and meaninglessness of the data did not yield statistically linear or non-linear results, we turned to an empirical model.

We wanted to get information from contractors of the 80s and especially the 90s.

In light of the data entering the bankruptcy system as a result of trusteeship and concordat, we reached some contractors.

We asked about their growth strategies and why they went bankrupt.

The stories are very similar.

Rapid growth, hormonally uncontrolled cash flow, unbalanced lifestyle, insufficient technical staff.

Of these reasons, the one with the least weight was insufficient technical staff.

In other words, there were engineers around them who understood the business, but their words were not really listened to.

Rapid growth and unbalanced cash flows had the most significant weight.

When you dig deeper, it is understood that they made a lot of money from the tenders they received through political favoritism.

They took on the role of a station for politicians.

They started pulling tricks.

They thought they were swindling the state, only to realize after they went bankrupt that it was actually them who were being swindled. 

Works that were knowingly and willingly not finished on time, price differences inflated with the inflation trick, discovery increases of up to ten times, and inflated progress payments increased earnings logarithmically.

The abnormal profits remaining after deducting the kickbacks disrupted the balance of the contractors.

Since their education level was also very low, it became impossible to restore the disrupted balance.

When the balance was disrupted, unnecessary spending hit the ceiling.

Real contractors, that is, engineer-contractors who work systematically, did not fall into this trap.

As for the hit-and-run types, their expenses became uncontrollable.

First, their family life went off the rails.

Constant business trips and an expensive lifestyle clouded the minds of the contractors.

Children who encountered uncontrolled wealth also got their share of this disorder.  

The issue of education was forgotten.

The perception that "there is money anyway" disconnected the children from reality.

The sanctity of sweat and toil was no longer discussed in family councils.

Children programmed to learn by seeing chose the wrong role models, and the great disaster became inevitable.

In short, dirty money produced dirty generations, and decay clung to the family.

Resources cut off following the changing political order.

Unpayable debts.

Domestic unrest.

A heart attack knocking on the door as troubles grew.

Necrotic hearts.

An early journey to the grave.

Renunciations of inheritance.

Children stocking shelves at discount stores.
