The murderous and brutal children of the slums

A vast empire collapsed.

Millions of Turks fled and returned to Anatolia.

Most could not escape.

They were killed in Morea, Crete, Shkodër, Mitrovica, Razgrad, Plovdiv, Deliorman, Palestine, Damascus, Yemen, Tabuk, and Galicia.

They were subjected to genocide.

Other Muslim nations in our region also migrated to Anatolia, fleeing either from the Tsar or from new rulers.

They lived in villages for a long time.

They could not receive an education.

As an agrarian society, they guided their children through religious and cultural education within a large family structure with many children.

Since they were all peasants, there was hardly any class difference.

They considered each other brothers.

They did not bother anyone.

Their greatest crimes were either stealing plums or sneaking off to the creek.

Child murders were almost never encountered.

In a forgotten, ruined, devastated, and poor country, they were struggling to survive.

That was until the Second World War.

When the war ended and NATO membership was established, Turkey began to receive investments.

Because Turkey stood as the first front against the Cold War and Russia's expansion project, investments increased significantly.

Roads, bridges, factories.

The country turned into a construction site.

In Turkey, where Russia also invested due to issues experienced with NATO and the US, serious population movements occurred.

Before the 1950s, eighty percent of Turks lived in villages; over time, eighty or even ninety percent began to live in cities.

With the escalation of terrorism after the 1990s, the eastern region also migrated entirely either to the nearest city center or to the west.

Initially, the state, which controlled this migration and acted as a patriarch, turned over time to a policy of "everyone fend for themselves" with liberal policies. 

It could not, or did not, turn on the tap of education for the peripheral neighborhoods and migrants.

It left the poor, wretched populace to their own devices.

Yeşilçam did not remain silent on this issue either.

Lives falling into brothels, youths with barely sprouted mustaches entering the world of thugs.

And now, perverts who brutally stab our beautiful-faced children in the heart and kill them.

This is unfortunately the end of the "everyone fend for themselves" approach.

Do not think that pragmatic politicians, opportunistic bureaucrats, and hit-and-run businessmen will make this a problem.

They have made their plans to go abroad long ago.

They have already sent their children ahead.

Those who love this homeland will roll up their sleeves and get to work.

They will get to work so that all lower-income groups are educated.

Educated so that brutal children are not raised.

So that brutal children are not raised and do not savagely stab our beautiful-faced children in their hearts.
