The new generation of football executives

Football and other sports are undergoing an economic evolution.

In particular, those running for president of football clubs have started speaking in a language we don't understand. 

They claim they will establish a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT).

Then they claim it will be taken public.

Then they claim the shares will be parked in a new company.

Then they claim it will be set aside for inheritance.

They claim they will marry the basketball team to a business partnership.

They claim they will cover the deficits by creating a larger ecosystem.

They claim they will raise five hundred million dollars with this sleight of hand.

Claims upon claims.

It is exactly the Yankee jargon of those who get their master's degrees at fake universities in America. 

I didn't listen to the rest; I turned it off.

In the meantime, I remembered the story of why the Japanese were not affected at all by the 2008 global economic crisis. 

Because their English was not sufficient, the Japanese did not understand the nonsensical economic models and fund transfer theories explained by the Americans.

Thus, they remained loyal to their traditional models and were saved from bankruptcy.

Colonial companies led by executives who studied in America, on the other hand, were hit by all the waves of the crisis and crashed into the wall.

These ones will crash too.

Trabzonspor earned thirty-five million from a goalkeeper transfer using a traditional model.

If they raise and sell ten footballers, that makes three hundred and fifty million.

They continue on their path without marrying off their companies or entering adventures with uncertain outcomes, and without any headaches.

You be careful, don't get played by falling for the bait of clean-shaven baby faces who studied business in foreign lands.
