Missing history while history is being written

How painful it is not to be able to read the process while countries are being torn apart and borders are being redrawn. How ridiculous it is to put on airs as if everything is under our control while Turkey's surroundings are being reduced to ashes by the Greater Middle East Project (BOP) fire that will sooner or later jump to us. What a great folly it is to be among those fanning the flames instead of foreseeing today's fire yesterday and taking precautions.

While Iraq was being torn apart during the 1st Gulf War, the slogan of those governing Turkey was; “Investing one to get three!” It was soon understood how much of a toll we paid from an Iraq divided into three along ethnic and sectarian lines. When the button was pressed for the division of Syria, the magical slogan of those governing the country was; “Performing Friday prayers in Damascus.”

The intention was Friday prayers in Damascus, but in the planning of the BOP masterminds, nothing other than a funeral prayer in Ankara was envisioned for Turkey. It is time to quote our article dated February 17, 2015, titled “From Friday Prayers in Damascus to Funeral Prayers in Ankara,” which describes the destruction that the fantasy of praying in the Umayyad Mosque would cause:

“The magic word for the region's reorganization aimed at the system seizing energy is democratization, a fairy tale of freedom for every ethnicity and every belief! Ethnic and sectarian segregation and uprisings are being encouraged as the most effective method for weakening and gradually fragmenting the nation-states in the region. The government's Syria policy stands before us as a pathetic photograph of an understanding that is unaware of international relations and world balances, has thrown state memory into the trash, and possesses not the slightest shred of knowledge about the modern world outside of the Qisas al-Anbiya, madrasa rumors, and anti-Republicanism. The days are near when the true colors of those who force-fed the nation the West's Kurdistan project—a cancerous tumor for the region—as a panacea for all ills with the lullaby of the ‘opening process’ will be revealed.

In a process where Turkey's national integrity and the indivisibility of its political geography have become insignificant for the system, the separatist organization is making its final preparations for mass urban uprisings in plain sight, like a wolf that loves foggy weather. The international system's propaganda that Kurds are the West's reliable ally in the region against political Islamist fanaticism and ISIS should be read as a legitimacy marketing campaign for the imminent PKK uprising.

The point to which the Neo-Ottomanist strategic insanity has brought Turkey is a complete disaster. The Iraqi and Syrian Turkmens, the legacy of the Great Seljuks and the Ottomans, were Turkey's demographic security umbrella until yesterday. Today, their 1,000-year-old homelands are being seized by the government's interlocutors in the ‘opening process,’ and they are being driven from their homes and hearths onto a death journey in the Arab deserts.

Let us recall the Suleyman Shah farce of the strategic genius in the Prime Minister's seat on the eve of the elections. The tomb was moved in violation of international law, and a short while later, the secret visit to Suleyman Shah's new grave was marketed as the conquest of Syria.

The life of a lie is as short as morning dew. Let us see the plain truth behind the lie: While Turkey is being surrounded by a ring of fire of a Greater Kurdistan from Iğdır to İskenderun, the Ottoman's founding ancestor Suleyman Shah is a TRT series character in the virtual world and a hostage in the hands of the PKK in real life!”

Our strategic depth expert's fantasy of “Friday prayers in Damascus” could, of course, have no meaning other than being a schizophrenic obsession! The bitter truth of today is that the BOP hitman, the radical Islamist HTS leader, has long since performed Friday prayers in Damascus!
