War and economy! Or economy and war!

The capitalist system, much like a human being, is a complex system that appears calm on the outside but harbors contradictions and conflicts within. It is because of this similarity that Freud is often considered for the human psyche, while Marx is considered for the system, as thinkers who resemble one another. In our discussion today, we will address the economy in the context of war, touching upon the wars of our time. 

Behind the facade of the economic system, which is claimed and believed to operate within a market process, lie thousands, tens of thousands of munitions that cause devastating and massive destruction to societies. Contrary to what is generally believed and injected into young minds through the scientific-looking bourgeois economic science, economic functioning is almost never calm or soothing to society. On the contrary, it is a system structure that disrupts income distribution, divides societies and drags them into poverty, devalues capital accumulation by leading to competition and conflicts, and darkens the present and future of women, children, and all of humanity by dragging societies into wars to access natural resources. The functioning of the economy is similar to the functioning of nature; it is ruthless, merciless, and enforces its own rules through violence, achieving its goal by its very nature. However, this goal will not benefit it either; because when natural resources, human values, and capital accumulation reach the point of exhaustion, it will perish, having, in Marx's words, "dug its own grave." However, the result to be reached at this rate, as we are experiencing today as if it were being shoved in our faces, will only occur after destroying all of humanity and nature!. Humanity, having fallen into a deep sleep under the magical anesthesia of capital, is waiting, locked into the inevitable end, much like a lover waiting for their beloved!

Capitalism is not a human-centric, but a capital-centric economic-social system. This means that social behaviors do not govern the economy; rather, the economy governs social behaviors, and even beliefs. The crux of the matter is that the economy manages social behaviors not through human anxieties and impulses, but in line with the interests and goals of capital. Because in the capitalist system, bosses themselves enter the service of capital, taking on the texture of "capitalized-human" by behaving like capital. How strange it is that capital, which is an accumulation of dead labor, grows by exploiting its living descendant and drags all of humanity into disaster. Hence the wars, the Hell created by Hitler, and today, the genocide Israel is committing in Gaza as if vomiting the social subconscious onto all of humanity, and its attempts to turn the designed Greater Middle East area into a complete war hell!

After the Second World War, in 1945, the famous Bretton-Woods meetings were organized to first lift up Europe, which had been destroyed and half-occupied by communists, and secondly to recapture it, and a new structuring, but a long-term struggle, was initiated by transferring the flag of dominance from England to the USA. Yes, Europe stood up with the support poured into it within the framework of the Marshall Plan, but the communist occupation continued. The removal of this occupation required both diverting and weakening the Soviet economic moves through distracting theaters such as long-term "space wars." Ultimately, the staging of all scenarios bore fruit with the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989, thank God. There used to be Taksim Meetings; I don't know if they still exist! At that time, while a speaker was describing this event, I had watched the hysterical pleasures of the bourgeois socialites with great disgust. I wish those poor souls could have seen these days, just as I wish for the "yetmez, ama evet" (not enough, but yes) oblivious intellectuals to see these days—or rather, they can see them, but I wish they could show some remorse and demonstrate "intellectual morality," at least with regret!

Yes, the social policy victory that began in Europe from the 1950s onwards began to drift toward a crisis toward the 1970s. This crisis was not a financial crisis, but a crisis of profit squeeze. The treatment for the profit squeeze crisis was perceived as expanding markets, and the real crisis was carried until 2008 through financial dragging. The 2008 Crisis, however, was experienced as a financial crisis, reminiscent of the 1929 crisis. But since the root of financial crises is a lack of real accumulation, and the real bottleneck could not be overcome, the crisis could not be resolved and, just as it was experienced in the 1870s crisis, it is dragging humanity into conflict. In our world, which has surrendered to the US-China duo with the collapse of the Soviets, the events in Venezuela, Syria, Iraq, and Iran have occurred one after another, and it seems more will occur. Of course, with the behind-the-scenes kept hidden, the justification was explained either as an operation to cleanse our world of dictators or an operation to bring democracy to countries. Yet, the issue is that capitalists are fighting each other by stepping on people in order to reach natural precious metals, oil, or rare elements like platinum, etc. Our understanding of this situation will not change anything, until it is realized that capitalism is such an inhumane system, that it has nothing to do with democracy and human rights, and that it is a diabolical system that makes humans slaves to humans!
