Mehmet Hadimi Yakupoğlu, the representative of the CHP at the Supreme Election Council (YSK), stated in his remarks to Saygı Öztürk from Sözcü Newspaper, “There are no fake voters, no duplicate voters, no Syrian voters. Furthermore, if you are not at the ballot box according to our election system, not just a cat, but an elephant could enter that ballot box multiple times. It has entered multiple times.”
It is true that during the Deniz Baykal and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu eras, the CHP organization could not send representatives to at least 20 percent of the ballot boxes. However, it is also certain that the CHP's YSK representative is not telling the truth. He is trying to cover up his own responsibility.
For years, the CHP has not cared at all about voter lists and ballot box controls. We said many times, “Since you cannot place people at all the ballot boxes, at least conduct a study on ballot boxes that represent Turkey using a sampling method. Prevent the AKP Chairman from going out on the balcony as soon as the elections end and saying we won, or from “taking the horse and crossing Üsküdar.” You can conduct statistical studies that say, “No, according to the list we have, the results are as follows.”
We even showed them the way. They said, “No, we will enter all the results ballot box by ballot box and compare them with the YSK.” Except for the 2019 Istanbul local elections and the last local elections, they were never able to enter the results ballot box by ballot box. What is heavier and more painful than the lost elections is that they also allowed the regime to be changed via referendum.
Do you ask how I know these things? Because I have been involved in voter list and early result ballot box studies that represent Turkey, that is why.
There is a volunteer organization called Polimetre that does Data Mining on this subject. It does this work voluntarily because its founder and president, Günal Ölçer, wants to protect Atatürk's Republic. He does not want his children to be forced to leave this country and go to other countries. Günal Ölçer is a close friend of mine.
The greatest support for Polimetre's work was given by Doğru Party Chairman Rifat Serdaroğlu. I was also involved in these studies. Polimetre founder and president Günal Ölçer sent the data found by Polimetre, the numbers of imaginary voters, the ballot boxes where imaginary voters were stationed, foreign voters, and suspicious increases in the number of voters to both the then-CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and all members of the Central Executive Board (MYK) one by one. It didn't stop there; he went to the headquarters in Ankara and explained it to both Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and the MYK. Doğru Party Chairman Rifat Serdaroğlu also explained Polimetre's findings in the television programs he attended many times. He issued written press releases. Rahmi Turan and Saygı Öztürk in Sözcü included both Rifat Serdaroğlu's and Polimetre's statements.
I have explained these findings several times on Tele1 Television, on Namık Koçak's Journalists' Table. We have a list of how many Syrian and Afghan voters there are, name by name, province by province, and district by district. I am adding the links to the lists of foreign-born voters who voted domestically and abroad to the bottom of this article.
RIFAT SERDAROĞLU AND THE LOCAL ELECTIONS
In the last local elections, Rifat Serdaroğlu gave the lists of suspicious ballot boxes to party organizations in Istanbul, Bursa, and Izmir, where foreign-born voters are concentrated, and asked them to work for the CHP candidates. While the Doğru Party's Izmir and Istanbul organizations were working in problematic districts where the AKP was ahead, both the Doğru Party and CHP organizations carried out an intensive joint study on all suspicious ballot boxes in Bursa, an AKP stronghold. Both Bursa and the districts in Bursa that were AKP strongholds were won. The problematic districts in Izmir and Istanbul were won. Well, later on, the mayors outside of Bursa didn't even greet the Doğru Party members, but anyway, that is not our topic, but let it be on the record.
POLIMETRE'S FINDINGS
Contrary to the claim that there are no Syrian voters in Turkey, let me give a brief summary of Polimetre's findings.
According to the study conducted by Polimetre, we see that between the last two elections, 2018 and 2023, an extra 642 thousand voters were registered, and if we look at it together with the 2019 local election, an extra 553 thousand voters were registered domestically alone. On the other hand, again according to Polimetre, nearly half of the 2.5 million foreign-born voters are suspicious. (Along with the irregularly granted citizenships) This corresponds to an excess of nearly 1.8 million voters. When considered together with vote shifting, there are approximately 3 to 4 million suspicious votes.
According to Polimetre, while there is a suspicion of nearly 1.8 million regarding the issue of excess voters for the last two elections, another mathematician and statistician, Füsun N. Sebil, says in an evaluation she made by looking at population growth and death rates that there is a difference of 1 million 800 thousand that needs to be explained according to population growth (including death rates) between the 2018 elections and the 2023 elections. Again, in this study, Füsun N. Sebil shares the suspicion that 6 million 700 thousand excess voters have been registered in the number of voters since 2007.
FOREIGN-BORN + OVERSEAS VOTERS + THOSE WHO ACQUIRED CITIZENSHIP
There are 2 million 544 thousand foreign-born voters on the voter list. 1 million 269 thousand of them will vote domestically,
1 million 275 thousand will vote abroad.
881,627 of the 2 million 544 thousand foreign-born voters are voters born in countries to the east of Turkey, mostly Arab countries. (Syria is in first place with 241 thousand. In second place comes Uzbekistan with 39 thousand, Azerbaijan with 37 thousand, and Russia with 30 thousand.) 1 million 663 thousand were born in countries to the west of Turkey. (Such as Germany, France, Bulgaria) The 2 million 544 thousand foreign-born voters were born in 199 different countries. There is no suspicion regarding those born in foreign countries such as Germany, Bulgaria, the countries of the former Yugoslavia, and France.
There is an impression that at least half of the 2 million 544 thousand foreign-born voters are suspicious.
According to the report prepared by Polimetre and repeatedly brought to the agenda by Doğru Party Chairman Rifat Serdaroğlu, the following findings are also important.
The top 10 countries and other notable countries among the 2 million 544 thousand foreign-born voters
Germany 865,132
Syria 241,698
Bulgaria 224,355
France 183,544
Netherlands 160,875
Yugoslavia 96,802
Belgium 88,113
Switzerland 53,323
TRNC 46,319
Afghanistan 25,738 (15th place)
Iran 25,091 (16th place)
USA 24,615 (17th place)
Saudi Arabia 22,987 (18th place)
Greece 20,676 (19th place)
Iraq 20,159 (20th place)
It is suspicious how those who were born abroad and will vote abroad became voters. It is even doubtful that most of them know Turkish. To give examples of some voters who were not born in Turkey, do not live in Turkey, but will decide on Turkey's future... For example, the number of voters born in Saudi Arabia who will vote in Saudi Arabia is 4500. The number of voters born in Afghanistan who will vote in Afghanistan is 1300. The number of voters born in Syria who will vote in Germany is 2500.
This is the short summary I have made. I am providing the links to Polimetre for those who want to get more detailed information about foreign national voters.
