We are experiencing a new phase in which we are witnessing just how agile the political maneuvers of the AKP, which has been in power for 22 years, can be.

It is such an agility that the AKP is able to maintain its existence and protect its interests through the same recurring strategies.

What is strange is the existence of a base that, let alone reacting to what is happening, still defends this agility for various reasons... I believe that sociologists should examine the parameters upon which this specific AKP voter reflex depends.

At every moment, in every way, the AKP is the possessor of absolute righteousness...

And in a similar way, we are faced with a sociological reality where people try to defend extreme changes and mind-boggling agility with incredible determination, while taking refuge in some maddening reasons while doing so...

The AKP, which associated the opposition with the PKK to change the pre-election landscape, is now reaching out to the DEM Party after the election, and Erdoğan is making poignant statements about brotherhood...

Millions of refugees are in our country, and international crime barons are running wild. Women, children, animals, men... Every living being is in danger..

Even concepts that are alive but not living, such as historical textures, artifacts, and our cultural heritage, are in danger...

New-generation crime gangs, both large and small, have surrounded all of Turkey, especially the major cities.

Except for a small group created by the political Islamist government, the public is condemned to poverty.

Children cannot be fed, they cannot develop... Suicide rates have increased...

The meat we eat is not meat, the water we drink is not water.

While the collapse in the education system endangers our future, the destruction of the justice system accelerates the decay in society..

Media outlets, meanwhile, are consciously not reporting the facts...

A great deal of lying and hypocrisy, where the sense of shame has completely disappeared, is driving people crazy....

For example, the political Islamist government even turns the fact that thousands of children have been killed in Israel's never-ending attacks on Palestine to its advantage.

But the media does not write about the trade with Israel, which journalist Metin Cihan has exposed and proven with documents abroad.... Circles close to the government continue their trade uninterrupted...

I know that the distortions we are in cannot be finished by writing about them.

How strange it is that topics that should be talked about for months or years are forgotten in two days in this country, let alone being discussed. It is as if a magic hand, a magician with a wand, is shaping everything.

Murdered women, brutal killings, and slaughtered children are pushed off the agenda by the statements of a few assigned hitmen.

We have moved past poverty; we are becoming unable to even talk about hunger.

We are witnessing a recurring process that we have seen many times in Turkey's recent history...

The targeting of the Constitution, rumors of a new resolution process...

As I come to the end, if you have noticed, I have not made any emphasis on the opposition. Because it is such an ineffective opposition that it is almost non-existent...

Even if there is no opposition, the facts stand right in the middle of our lives...

I believe that in any content, narrative, or article, certain data and scientific realities must be shared..

In this context, it must be expressed with sadness and anger:

From the beginning of 2024 to October, 296 femicides were committed in Turkey. In the 10-month period, a total of 184 women were found dead under suspicious circumstances.

According to the research and reports of the Umut Foundation, there are approximately 4 million licensed and 36 million unlicensed weapons in Turkey.

The number of murders committed in Turkey from September 2023 to September 2024 is 1,388. Based on October 7, 1,455 murders have been committed in the last 13 months.

The hunger threshold for a family of four has exceeded 19 thousand TL, the poverty threshold has exceeded 67 thousand TL, and the poverty threshold for a single person has exceeded 31 thousand TL.
